Gregg has provided weekly guitar lessons to our son for the past 2 1/2 years. We have been very pleased with the results of our son's playing, not to mention his motivation and enjoyment while a student of Gregg's. Of special note is how Gregg has included our son in ensemble performances such as in fund-raisers and public service. This has not only further motivated Manuel but has helped grow his overall self confidence with the guitar and beyond.
My daughter has been taking guitar lessons from Tod for several years. She has really enjoyed learning and exploring the music she is interested in. Tod has worked with her to learn to play the guitar with his expertise, but has listen to her regarding music she wants to learn to play. It has been awesome to see her love of music and ability to play, grow through her lessons. She really enjoys her time with Tod. We would highly recommend Tod. He is great teacher for young and old.
Thoughtful considerate and at your pace lessons -the instrument, the music, the theory - a full packge and hell just what you need to play what you wnat to play -- Morgan's great. He changed my playing and I should go back for more.
Don was fantastic. I'm so excited to continue my violin and piano lessons! I definitely recommend him...he obviously has a lot of knowledge to offer his clients.
Drum and guitar lessons--prompt, patient, and gave great exercises to use for practice.
I hired Bill for electric guitar lessons. I actually shopped for an instructor who would fit my learning style best. I learn by doing things hands-on, not so much auditory learning. After trying 4 different instructors, I decided Bill was the best fit for me. Other instructors were good but did not have what I was looking for such as: not teaching according to my learning style, not understanding my goals, or making me feel like I learned nothing after the first lesson. I felt none of these will Bill. After my first lesson with him, I knew he would be a great fit for me. You can just tell he has experience by interacting with him. I left the lesson feeling satisfied with the information I learned and that I am capable of reaching my goals. He takes his time with each lesson, does not rush, and welcomes all questions. He is patient with newbies like me and adept at explaining things in a manner that I will understand. I never feel overwhelmed with the information he gives. I like that he gives positive encouragement when you do something correctly. He will also help you correct you if you have bad form/technique. Bill is very professional, he responds to inquiries quickly. He has the knowledge, experience, and background to help you reach your goals. He has a great personality and is willing to work with your schedule. I highly recommend Bill as an instructor!
Very, very happy with Marshall O'Leary. He's teaching my daughter piano and he is also teaching me guitar!! Marshall is very professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. And, he comes to my house!! :) Better than I could have hoped for.
I have been very happy with the guitar instruction that my son has received from Brain. He is a creative and patient teacher that really takes an individual interest in the student. Highly recommended !
I have been taking piano lessons from Mark for the last 6 months and it has been a fantastic experience! He is very friendly and patient and he absolutely knows what he is doing. He has a love and passion for music which he will share with you as you grow as a musician. He is very flexible and accommodating when it comes to scheduling or rescheduling your lessons. I would highly recommend Mark Deffenbaugh for any music lessons you need.
Andrew has been my 9 year old son's guitar teacher for a year and a half now. Andrew's approach is very kid-friendly. In our case, my son picks the songs he wants to learn, and if Andrew doesn't know them, he will look up the song on the iPad and learn it along with him. I appreciate that he is not only teaching skills, but also modeling how to learn new things. My son has picked up on this, and works on new songs on his own now by looking them up in his chord songbook, finding online tutorials or figuring it out by ear. Along the way, Andrew weaves in the basics like scales and theory. My son says about Andrew: "He is really nice and keeps things at your skill level. If he thinks you're getting really good at one subject, he'll add something more challenging." My son's guitar playing has improved dramatically since he began taking lessons with Andrew, and he has a deeper appreciation for all kinds of music as a result.
I was already an intermediate guitarist when I began lessons with Marcus Truelove. He has a reputation among area guitarists as professional and very knowledgeable. He exceeded my expectations in every way. I was at a learning plateau and quite frankly, all over the place on the fretboard when I began lessons. Over the course of two years, he was able to smooth out my technique and improved my timing immensely. I especially like that he was able to teach to any level of ability and covered a lot of material in every lesson. His level of understanding made playing a lot easier for me and the results were almost immediate. He uses an easy to understand building block approach to teaching. He will give you honest feedback on your progress/ability and set reasonable expectations for your next lesson. His lessons are an excellent value and I reserve for him my highest recommendation.
I am a university-trained guitarist specializing in classical and acoustic guitar for beginners to advanced players, including audition preparation for conservatories, colleges and schools of music
I loved the way he presented music to me, I had been struggling for a long time with the guitar and he got me playing my favorite song in a month, and singing along too!! The class was fun and dynamic so I was never bored or uninterested. Thumbs up!

I love music, I love seeing someone's face when something I teach them gets some traction and seeing them comeback motivated to learn even more. I'm also a student of music from Robert Johnson on up.

I teach guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo. I have been teaching students of all ages for 30 years and have innovate methods to help students advance rapidly while having fun.
I believe that those who can't do teach but when those who CAN do take up teaching, it's so much more valuable for the student. I'm a professional performer first and foremost and I'm giving students practical know-how from my own experiences rather than just copying methodology from an instructional book. You must be around a professional to SOUND like a professional.
