Just great! Punctual, cordial, best price, and great work. Used for kitchen faucet installation
Tim was great to work with - he was diligent and hard-working. He repaired our iron porch railing in two evenings, even working into the dark and rain!
This is my first time using Thumbtack and honestly, I am really satisfied with water heater installation from Walter. Our Water heater was leaking (19 years old) and needed immediate replacement since it was leaking. I was calling all over for the contractors for prices and they all ranged over $1000. Also, other contractors were willing to charge extra fees and unnecessary county code. Walter was professional and very kind. He explained in details about the water heaters and purchasing county code is not necessary. He also showed up at home depot 7 in the morning and picked all the necessary parts and water heater. All I needed to do was to make the purchase. Also, he delivered water heater to my home AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. He finished the work in a timely manner and cleaned up well. I am REALLY satisfied with his service. Walter is going to my plumber and I am going to introduce him to my friends and neighbours. His labour cost is very affordable and reasonable compare to other contractors. I was able to save hundreds of dollars in labour cost. Overall you will never regret hiring Hi solution and Walter is the guy. He is a licensed contractor.
We needed to have a shower door installed. This was the last item in a larger home remodel project. We asked the team who did the remodel but their price was higher than we were willing to pay at this point. We got a couple of other quotes which were all over the place. I had used thumbtack only once previously but never hired anyone. I thought I'd give it a try. Randy gave us a good quote that we were satisfied with. He didn't have any reviews on thumbtack so we were hesitant, but he provided references and explained that he just joined thumbtack. I spoke to a pro poetry manager and she praised Randy's work saying that he does all the work on their many properties. We have it a shot. We exchanged a couple of emails and phone calls prior to the actual work day. We weren't sure which door to order but with his advice we finally got it and scheduled the installation. Randy's worker was very prompt and thorough. The shower stall have him some trouble since it was porcelain tile, but he managed to get the screws in. Unfortunately the instructions for the door were confusing and the final few steps weren't done properly. I wasn't home when the installation was finished but when I returned and noticed it didn't look right I called the door manufacturer and they explained what was wrong. I called Randy who was very accommodating and his worker came the next morning and fixed the issue. They were both curteous. In the end we got the door installed within our budget. Our work in the house is complete now, but if we need anything else done in the future I will certainly ask Randy again for a quote.
I turned to Nas Construction as a full service provider company. As a mother of 2 whom works a full time job, I find it very helpful to have someone take care of the process. Nas Construction took responsibility of everything, leading to the renovation of my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. They contacted the management company and ordered the materials. This allowed me to focus on other aspects of my life and not to worry about the construction. During the countertop installation, we had a bit of a glitch. The countertop cracked. I was panicking since I needed to cook and used my kitchen. Jhonathan totally took on the responsibility and apologized. I had a beautiful countertop installed in my kitchen in less than a week with the help of there materials dept. I was very pleased with the final results and the way I was treated. I recommend Nas Construction to those of us who need to renovate their kitchen or bath and cant afford to dedicate so much time to the process that leads to the construction and completion.
Installed an attic ladder in my house. He performed the work quickly and professionally for a fair price. Great job, made sure everything was right. I definitely recommend him.
Dave provided incredibly quality work at a competitive price. We had the bottom 2 ft of drywall removed in our basement during remediation stemming from a neighbor's leaky system. Dave installed the drywall seamlessly with the remaining wall! We were extremely impressed with his work. Dave's cleanup of the messy job was spotless. Finally, Dave arrived on time and got the job done as promised!! We will be keeping his business card handy for other projects around the home and recommend his work wholeheartedly! Thanks, Dave!!!
I had a gas fireplace installed two years ago. Another contractor did the basic frame and sheetrock around the fireplace but didn't finish the job. Jenrri met with me in person to assessed the job and give a quote for the work. Jenrri was pleasant and professional and my two Westies both liked him. If they didn't like him I wouldn't have hired him. He said the front area around the firebox would need to have the sheetrock replaced with cement board. I was glad he knew this because not having the right materials could be a fire hazard. After meeting with him. I decided to hire him and planned for him to come Feb. 16-19, 2016 to do this job. He did this job with another worker named Melby. Jenrri and I had to buy materials from the store the first day, but Melby stayed and started working. He removed the sheetrock and also cut boards for the shiplap look I wanted on the upper front and sides of the fireplace. Jenrri and Melby completed cutting and installing about half of the boards the first day. They laid tile on the hearth and around the firebox. I had picked large tiles for the hearth and small tiles to go around the firebox. The small tiles took more time to cut and install. Some of the tile around the firebox doesn't lay completely flat because of the screws for the cement board and because the framing around the firebox wasn't level. If I had to pick again I would have picked larger tiles to go around the firebox. They would have been easier to install and wouldn't have shown that the firebox wasn't completely level. After the tile and boards were installed they painted all the boards and the two walls on each side of the fireplace. Then installed the mantle and touched up the painting. They did a very nice job cleaning up when the work was done and even put furniture and a rug back in place. They also completed the job on time. I am happy with my finished fireplace. It looks beautiful. Both Jenrri and Melby work hard and do a good job. Maybe if Jenrri did the whole project instead of finishing someone else's work it would have been perfect. I would hire him again and I would recommend him to others.
We had a great experience with Sam and his team. He painted our shutters, repaired and repainted our screened in porch, and hung a fan. Very responsive and quality work. We'll hire him again!
Always on time. Excellent workmanship and very detailed! I will use him again and I highly recommend you call him for your tile installation needs!
I decided to hire this company to get rid of the mouse problem in my house after a representative from Orkin told me there wasn't anything they could do except put down some traps. I knew I needed a company to do a thorough inspection to isolate the problem areas and make the necessary repairs. Bobby inspected the entire exterior of my house including the roof. He also went room to room inside looking for access points that need attention. I received an itemized price quote for all the work that needs to be done. Elite Wildlife will be able to fix all of the structural issues that have gotten worse over time to both get rid of the mice and make my home safe and sound again. I will write another review after the work is finished.
Sam Axton of Axton Handyman Services has been working for me for over 5 years on many large and small projects. These have included: Vinyl Flooring, Carpeting, Laminate Flooring, Indoor Furniture-grade Carpentry, Electrical Wiring, Decks, Fireplace Hearth Installation, Utility Building Construction, Exterior Door Replacement, Caulking, Drywall, Painting, and Staining. Every job has been done to my complete satisfaction and at a very reasonable price. Most importantly, Sam has always given me a good estimate of how big a job is likely to be and has always finished it at about the estimated cost (in dollars and/or hours). He is also very good about telling me when he thinks a job is outside his capabilities. (Not many are.) I have no reservations about recommending Sam for your next Handyman project. The best way to make use of Sam's many skills is to save up a list of projects so he has enough work to fill at least a day or two.
Fence installation in backyard along rear alley, including security gate installation leading from backyard to steps into alley.
Great work and attention to detail. John did an amazing job building and framing walls and door in my basement. The price was fair and the work was done on time. Couldn't be happier with the result.
My wife and I had a great experience working with Erick. He did great work on several projects in our house -- finishing the garage, painting rooms, and installing a kitchen backsplash. We were initially looking just to do some work in the garage, but were so impressed with the quality of Erick’s work and his commitment to doing everything to very high standards that we asked him if he could do the other projects -- and expect we'll do that again in the future. Here were some things that stood out the most: -- Transparent and helpful. Erick provided detailed explanations about cost; sent photos of paint or products from past projects so we could see different options; and always explained things like why a particular paint or caulk or some other product would or wouldn't work well and how they would affect cost. We made choices about all those things and never felt like we were being pressured into anything. -- Highly responsive. Some contractors who gave us estimates were slow to respond. Erick would almost always text or email back right away. That helped not only as we were making decisions on the front end about cost and materials, but also when we needed reassurance that we hadn't picked something dumb or just wanted to make sure we understood the schedule for the next day. -- Careful and clean. The paint applied in several rooms -- including three with high ceilings -- has sharp lines and looks great. The backsplash is carefully measured and straight. Erick was a perfectionist about little things like smoothing the ceiling in the garage and making sure the caulk lines above the backsplash were sharp. He noticed and pointed out little imperfections that we didn’t notice ourselves and then fixed them. And when each job was done, our house was actually cleaner than when we started. Erick carefully covered floors and furniture, cleaned kitchen surfaces, and swept and vacuumed. We had a great experience!
Nery did a great job painting the inside as well as front exterior of my house. He gave a great price and finished the job in a timely manner. Would definitely work with him again!
Learned about Curtis' company through work he did for a neighbor who was extremely satisfied with his work. They allowed us to see the work he'd done on their master bath and it looked great. We had our townhouse kitchen renovated by them. Curtis provided a very comprehensive estimate which detailed some items we hadn't considered such as daily clean-up, the payment schedule, and how receipts would be handled for materials purchases. His estimate came in at the middle of 4 estimates we received for tear-down of the original kitchen, new cabinet installation, tile floors and backsplash with some electrical and plumbing thrown in. He was able to accommodate an earlier start date when the cabinets we ordered were available earlier then expected by 2 weeks. He and his 2 assistants worked efficiently and more importantly they took care when doing the demo (and throughout the project) to protect the hallway floors and other areas of the house from dust, dirt and debris. They worked very efficiently and by the end of the 2nd day were starting on laying the tile floor. Cabinet installation went smoothly and he was kind enough to point out a couple items which we needed to report back to the cabinet makers regarding some bowing. Overall the project took approximately 9 business days from start to finish with a few small visits to finish up hardware, trim and reinstallation of the dishwasher once the counters and sink folks (separate company) finished their piece. His 2 assistants were equally pleasant and made us feel comfortable so we could ask questions as needed. We plan to use Curtis' company Oddjobs.pro again for upcoming bathroom renovations and some other work we need done.
This guys did an excellent job for me. They finished our basement, installed drywall, and painted it. Very efficient and professional. Their price was very appropriate for the amount of work they did. I will use them again in the future.
Jim was great. He did a deck and a patio for us. What a great job, he did. We will be haring him again next years for are next project . Thanks Jim for all you did for us. Photos will be coming soon. Jane
James did an outstanding job of cleaning and installing gutter guards. I will definitely hire him for any future projects.
I had tile installed in two bathrooms at my house.... absolutely perfect job! Quick, efficient, and the quality of work performed was top notch. He worked around my crazy work schedule and came back and even ensured everything was perfectly clean and I was satisfied. 100% would hire again!
