FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For family and pet portraits I stay with the industry standard of about $300. Weddings can average around $1500. However, those prices can vary depending upon specific requests from the client and whether there is any long distance travel involved. In regards to my digital painting or photo restorations, each depends on what is needed, required or requested and will vary picture by picture. So I start at $150 per job and will scale the costs up or even down depending on the work required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening! I want to know what they really want in style or concept and how or where will the final product be used so I can offer them the best possible choices.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began with photography classes from my local community college, and continued with many private classes from professional photographers. I watch tutorials on YouTube, or through Adobe.com, Lydia.com and of course KelbyOne training to keep up with the latest trends and to expand my ideas.
