Introduction: I have over 20 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, including those who have pursued professional careers in voice. I have extensive training and experience in producing the contemporary vocal sounds required to perform in today's music theater and recording settings including belt technique and speech level singing. In addition, I place emphasis on interpretation of music and performance skills.
I enjoy working with people towards the development of their talents. Whether the individual decides to pursue professional singing, perform in regional or community productions, or simply use it for personal enjoyment, it is very fulfilling to develop an individual's talent and self confidence.

Devin Toma is a patient and thorough vocal instructor. He understands the science of singing, and communicates clearly what he needs the student to do. He introduces one new concept at a time and assures that it is mastered before he moves on. He is also experienced with many vocal styles and aware of current trends in the music world. My son is really enjoying his voice lessons, and is progressing well.
