FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is rather straightforward. It is $34/session Each session lasts 75 minutes. Most pros offer only 60 minutes. I will lower my fees because of your financial status. I see so much potential, I want all students to succeed. I do ask you pay per session witheither by cash or by check I am just starting to offer online services. I charge $20/hour. This depends upon the complexity of the subject .
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before the first session, I schedule a conference with the parents. We discuss the goals and needs of the student. I also interview the students and have them tell me where they think their weaknesses are. I try to form a plan outlining reasonable goals including frequency of visits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in mathematics at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I received an honorary key. I then trained to be a doctor and practiced biostatistics. I have taught high school students to engineers. I am qualified to teach from pre-algebra to advanced algebra and geometry. I have taken many courses to maintain my credentials as well as courses to teach mastery on certain standardized tests, including SAT, ACT, PSAT, etc. I HAVE DEVELOPED DIFFERENT PROGRAMS FOR MY STUDENTS. I love tutoring. I am able to reduce concepts to basic principles that are easily mastered. I go at my student's pace and encourage questions. KNOWLEDGE IS GREAT,BUT THE ABILITY TO TEACH IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT. I TAKE COURSES TO IMPROVE MY TEACHING SKILLS.
