Rae is an amazing photographer. She has taken our family photos for the last two years, and there aren’t enough words to describe how awesome she is, truly. The first time we took photos with her, my son was two, and well, everyone knows about the terrible two’s toddlers go through, right? He essentially cried the entire time, but she was not phased one bit by it and still managed to take beautiful pictures, and managed to hide his tears, and snotty nose. She was so incredibly patient with our family; not once did a look of annoyance when dealing with a cranky child ever cross her face, and it was brutally cold with chilly November wind in our outside shoot; the amount of patience she exercises is incredible. Rae has previously worked with children in an elementary school, and that work history only reinforces her patience with children and knowing how to take the right approach with our kids.
Rae has a passion for photography, and you can see it in the quality of her pictures; it’s a gift she is blessed with, among many. If you are unsure about how to pose during your shoot, don’t be! Rae has so many suggestions for how to pose your arms and legs and they turn out beautifully in the photos – which she possibly learned from her time at Picture People as a photographer! If you ever have any questions regarding photography, she has the answer. She knows of various poses, lighting during the time of day, different locations to take your photos at, different props you can bring (and she provides very cute ones, too!), and has worked with us so well, in terms of scheduling our shoots. Rae has a wide range of photography types – from family (to include your cute pets), engagement, maternity, newborn, and boudoir – she does it all! She has excelled in her expertise of post photo processing, and it is impressive! Rae took our holiday pictures in December of 2016, and I am utterly obsessed with them! We have received so many compliments on her work (over 40!), and I have framed so many in our home. Thank you, Rae!
