I used Mommy a la carte for my sins first birthday decorations. Tamika was absolutely amazing. She was on time and brought all the decorations we discussed. It was exactly like what we had discussed. Every one was impressed with the decorations. I would highly recommend mommy a la carte.

We started working with Mommy a La Carte more than seven months before our delivery date. From initial contact up until today, Mommy a La Carte has been professional, knowledgeable, and continues to walk us through all of the major and minor details of being first-time parents. By knowing the ins and outs of parental planning, Mommy a La Carte helps us to distinguish between the things we already know and things we dont. I tend to be a hands on father, which could be a good or bad characteristic depending on if youre asking my wife or someone else. :-) Mommy a La Carte has been a great mediator between my wife and I. They grasp both of our wish lists and do an outstanding job meshing them together to create a bigger picture. I have no hesitations in recommending Mommy a La Carte. The pleasant service and level of interaction is one of the many reasons why I will be a repeat customer for the milestones and celebrations for our kid(s). Mommy A La Carte has changed my life for the better! Offering services and support since I found out I was pregnant and still to this day with my son being 7months old, I could not have gotten through my pregnancy, gone back to graduate school, relocated, and managed everyday life as a wife and mother of a 2 year old without Mommy A La Carte's array of services. MALC offered me weekly coaching sessions where we would cover an array of topics such as status of applying to graduate schools, baby shower and nursery preparation, ideal cities to relocate to, and daily routines to follow to help with everyday life. Not only did I gain outstanding professional advice, I also received advice and support from a fellow wife and mommy. Having Mommy A La Carte as my number one resource lifted up many burdens and allowed me to enjoy my pregnancy and be present in my everyday life and not just go through the motions. I can honestly attest that Mommy A La Carte provided one of a kind services and has shifted my life overall in such a positive manner. I will definitely be using MALC services in the future.

I first had the pleasure to work with Mommy a la Carte during my surprise baby shower. Tamika planned engaging games for us to play along with every detail of the celebration from securing the venue to the catering. When it was time for my son to arrive, Mommy a la Carte helped me plan the design of my son's nursery and to consider some of the details I wasn't even thinking about! My son's room turned out great and was functional for sleeping, changing, and those late night feedings. Mommy a la Carter helped me with the planning of my son's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd birthday parties. Tamika worked with me to flesh out ideas and think about the most creative solutions. All three birthday parties for my son turned out great! Tamika was very easy to work with was patient with me as I asked questions and she provided very thorough responses. I was impressed with her creativity and ability to 'think outside of the box.' I look forward to continuing to work with Mommy a la Carte in the future as my son gets older.

We provide "A La Carte" services as well as packages. "A La Carte" services have a minimum of a three hour commitment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always seeking opportunities to learn about the industry. I frequently attend conventions and seminars to learn the latest trends in the mommy/baby industry. I am planning to become certified life coach in the near future.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My entire professional career has been centered around children, families, and program management. After becoming a mother, it was very clear to me that I had something to share with mothers around the world!
