Introduction: With over 15 years of experience in both personal and professional communications consultation, I have served on the speaker coaching team for TEDxTysons, presented at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and am a member of both the National Storytelling Network and the National Communication Association. I want nothing more than to help you achieve your public speaking and writing goals, and I believe success starts with a clear understanding of you and your project. Therefore, I take a personalized approach to analyzing your request, assessing your desired outcome, and presenting you with suggestions for success. Helping you to communicate effectively and authentically is the objective so that you can say whatever you need to say with confidence and clarity, regardless of content or audience. Multiple-session discounts/packages are available. Happy to discuss, if interested.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once connected, I make sure I fully understand the customer's goals and definition of success. Then we manage expectations, get some coffee (or tea) and start to disassemble any challenges one brick at a time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Business Communications, an MS in Professional Writing, and a certificate in Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking. I've also been briefing important audiences for years.
