Will be having an estate sale and wanted to move items from one home to another and have some items brought back to my house. These two gentlemen and I mean that sincerely were the best movers I have ever worked with. They worked like crazy not stopping until all the work was done. They did everything I asked them to do. Kim Johnson of Kim Johnson Designs was a pure joy to work with and would highly recommend her!!! Throughout our whole-house remodel Kim helped to guide, recommend, encourage, support and educate us in an informative, experienced yet respective and completely comfortable way. She helped us to navigate the overwhelming and confusing process of a million choices by helping to uncover our desires and wishes (often unknown to us) to create a cohesive design direction that was in our style and budget. Our project included building new spaces (master bedroom suite, family room, mudroom) with an entire kitchen rebuild, as well as remodeling 3 additional bathrooms, laundry room and re-purposing existing space in 4500 sq ft house. The planning for the process was 7 months and construction 7 months, while interior design continues. Kim helped us make construction decisions during the early stages with an architect - she provided the real-world, practical, "women's-view" with architectural experience. Kim helped to confirm design decisions for all cabinetry (layout, wood choices, hardware and granite countertops) for extensive kitchen cabinets, dining room, and 4 bathrooms). Kim then directed the paint color choices for all rooms in the house and was essential in the selection of custom furniture items for new family room as well as window treatments for several rooms in the house. She also continues to make suggestions/answer questions about any area of the house whenever I ask. Working with Kim was like spending time with a dear friend, who is just as interested in your project and its success as you are (sometimes more when you are frustrated and tired of making decisions). Although she often works as a general contractor, we were working with a separate architect and contractor for the execution, yet she complimented them beautifully. She is very flexible in her arrangements and can work with anyone and any situation. Kim is very fair and reasonable. You will love working with her.
Architect Steve Dunakoskie has been of invaluable help to me since 2003. Steve has been involved in my real estate properties in planning, designing and on the job construction. Steve is the most knowelable person I know when it comes to architecture. I was impressed again with Steve after a recent large remolding job of a warehouse in Austin, Texas resulted in the labor making a measuring mistake. Steve took a hands on approach, arrived in work clothes and fixed it himself with a creative solution. The finished remolding job looked fantastic, was on time and on budget.

They sent a general contractor to the house to look at the scope of work I needed done and give me an estimate. Once I settled on the house and had the keys in hand, the contractor begun work the very next day! This company is very responsive and professional. I am so happy with the work they did. They exceeded my expectations and they completed the job in the timeframe they told me they would. They remodeled and designed my bathrooms, laid new flooring on my main level, painted my entire house and added a new bedroom to my upstairs den area.
