I hired Patrick to paint a mural for my daughter's room, but what I got was so much more!  From his first email, and all of our subsequent communications, I knew I was dealing with an absolute professional.  He was prompt, courteous, fun to work with and eager to do what he does best.  And important for me, he worked with my budget. My young daughter sketched her "vision" of her dream beach mural and Patrick brought it to life!  He not only took the time to study her drawing and other pictures we printed as a guide, but he talked to her and listened.  As a dad, he knew just how to do that.  As an artist, he made it all happen! I have no hesitation recommending Patrick Kirwin, and would certainly use him again!

It was nice meeting Mrs. Wendy. She arrived on time and was very friendly. My son enjoyed the class and we plan to continue several lessons more until my son can be at the level he needs to be in.

Nina taught a number of drawing, painting, and sculpture classes for my homeschooling group. Since our children were different ages, she planned a lesson for the older or more capable students as well as one for the younger students, and in that way she was able to accommodate several different age groups with the help of a supervising parent. Nina's thoughtful suggestions to each student brought out individual abilities, besides the basic skills that she addressed. She was particularly adept at bringing self-conscious and reluctant students into the art arena.

About

I've been doing art for as long as I can remember, and I love working with people to improve their technical skills and help them develop an eye for what works best in a composition. I'll find your skill level and we'll build off that, starting with what you think your greatest weaknesses are, then making goals to expand your abilities. Anyone can create great art, given time, practice, and guidance.

Acrylic painting lessons for two! I was very pleased that the owner was so accomodating to our needs. Both of us worked on the same basic picture, and the instructor was quite helpful. We think we're going to sign up for some more lessons!

Brian is a truly gifted and passionate artist. He has never spent a day without his artistic eye focused keenly on his community and the natural world. His portraits, self-portraits, and still lifes are full of dynamic light and shadow and convey deep emotion. Brian's painting and drawings both tell a story and inspire reflection, transport and give pause. If you are drawn to the detail and style of the Dutch masters and appreciate a rustic, sincere attention to subject matter, Brian is an artist to explore further.

About

I try to focus on quality and quantity, as well as making every drawing memorable in some way. After all, what good is a drawing if it doesn't make you laugh? I aim to make fun and exciting work that people can easily frame and keep as a reminder of their events forever.
