Tim worked on various installations and assemblies, like assembling a stepping stool, wooden futon, and installing towel racks and curtain rods, etc. He is a hard worker and seems to have endless energy. I have been very happy with the above mentioned work, and found that he was willing to go the extra mile to deal with problems encountered along the way, e.g. a weird plastic piece appearing on what was supposed to be a bronze metal towel rack, so he did nifty things to hide the plastic. However, more recently, an assignment he had happily accepted--to build two side tables and a coat rack--had to be aborted. Unfortunately that was after lots and lots of time had passed, I wished he had called it off or not accepted the assignment in the first place unless he could see it through, so that I could have had the items done by someone else long ago, as I was desperate to get several home improvement things out of the way. The side tables--which are pretty--were done for the most part but not fully (I still need to find another woodworker to do the unfinished business) and the coat rack was not done at all. Somehow his heart was simply not in it anymore, but would have been better to just straightforwardly cancel a job rather than dragging things out. This is why I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars. He did feel bad about how things went with these three pieces and therefore didn't charge me for one of the side tables.

Tyrone came out on short notice to help with a metal project for our window. He did a good job. Was professional, nice, good workmanship and priced right. We would hire him again. You should too!

the guys from Valle Remodeling showed up on time and did an excellent job installing the Fire Proof door. They came prepared and did exactly what they said they would do. Within 2 hours, they removed the existing door and metal frame and installed the new door. Before leaving they cleaned up the area - leaving it in better condition. Hats off to these kind gentlemen for a job well-done!

Old shingle roof leaked badly after the big blizzard last winter. Chuck was prompt, got the work done on time, very neat, dealt with a couple of difficulties very well. I really like the way the Englert Roofing went on. Also had him install new sheathing, reinforced the trusses as well, I recommend him highly!

I'm pretty picky about who I let work on my car. Charlie knows his welding, for sure. I had a job that turned out to be much more complex that originally thought. What was originally thought to be a simple steel automotive frame actually was a mix of metals (81 Delorean). Charlie knew from the way the weld wasn't taking what kind of metal it was, and what kind of rod he needed. He had everything in his truck. The job turned out super! We didn't agree on a price beforehand, just that we'd get in to the job and see what was involved. It took longer than thought and cost me less than I expected. Will absolutely use him for any other jobs in the future.

Kraftwerks repaired our standing seam tin roof and rebuilt and restored the slate roof on our 1840s spring house. They did a great job! The work was done in a timely fashion and the site thoroughly cleaned up once the project was finished. We highly recommend Kraftwerks!

Pete Markey, owner of Creative Metal Design, is an artist who creates on a canvas of iron. Using the hammer in place of the brush, he paints three-dimensional works of art that are functional as well as beautiful. Pete is a graduate of Turley Forge in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he mastered the time-honored, traditional method of shaping metal with hammer and anvil. His expertise ranges from faithful reproductions to his own highly original designs, and his skill with a variety of metals enables him to express many moods and effects. He specializes in custom-built one-of-a-kind pieces, which interpret the visions of individuals who search for the truly distinctive and unique. Handcrafted from start to finish, Pete's metal designs represent a creative approach to practicality and visual pleasure.
