- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I have been enrolled in courses and workshops constantly over the last year, sometimes more than one at a time even! It is very important to keep growing as a photographer. As I like to say, there is ALWAYS room for improvement, so never stop learning!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been a creative person. When my daughter was born I had the most awesome newborn pictures taken of her that brought me to tears! I got a camera shortly after and began by being a hobbyist and I have built my business slowly over the last 4 years with experience ranging from family portraits, sports photography, and my favorite (and now my focus) newborns!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Newborn photography can be dangerous if not done correctly! Please make sure the photographer you choose has had some newborn photography training and knows how to handle your baby safely!
