Introduction: I teach guitar, bass and drums. I own a recording studio. I have been playing and teaching for over 35 years. My students and clients appreciate the fact that I am very thorough and care about detail. I believe strongly that it's important to know why you are playing what you play as well as feeling it.
I'm a songwriter and recording artist as well, so I know and understand what it takes to translate what's in your heart and head to a recording. I give my 110% to a project.

I found Mr.Burstein to be very knowledgeable on music theory, and has a very good teaching method to share his knowledge. He has a way of explaining complex music theory at a level that beginners understand. outstanding teacher

Mike is a great guitar player ! He is very knowledgeable in guitar theory and rhythm. As a gigging musician, Mike has a good combination of real world band experience and book knowledge needed to help his guitar student succeed.
