Jon arrived early to set up and test the equipment to ensure all worked properly during my party. He requested information prior to the event regarding my music tastes. I provided the information and based on my suggestions and combined with some of his playlists, he was able to get a good mix of music that had us dancing. I appreciated his checking with me periodically to see if the selections were to my liking and if he was meeting or exceeding expectations. I would highly recommend him for any event where you want quality and variety in music! I would hire him again! Barbara T.

Don is a very accomplished guitarist with a wealth of knowledge. It shows that he is eager to impart his knowledge. I had my first lesson with him today and I learned so much. He incorporates music theory in to his lessons to show us why things are played the way they are and where they originated from. He was patient and very encouraging. His soloing skills are phenomenal and I am excited to learn from him. I highly recommend him to musicians of all levels. He is now my jazz guitar guru! Hail to the Guitar Chief Don!

Guests and clients are always impressed with his performances. He plays everything from Jazz and Pop, to Broadway and classical.

Ron gave me a lot of help when I was learning to accompany singers and saxophone players. He showed me chord configurations that made me sound like a pro. I was asked to join a jazz combo. He was also great at accompanying me as a singer.

From the first gig that I worked with Jay and Trackside, they treated me as part of the group as we worked together to create video and photos worthy of a first class regional band. He and the group have always had my requirements as a priority and keep me informed about the things necessary for me to function in My role with the band. Love working with these guys. One of the best local rock bands ever!!

About

Bad Influence, the premier Washington, DC band, has been playing their style of blues-infused, high-energy music since 1988. Ever-growing crowds turn out for the band's scorching hot and sinfully addicting shows, which are charged with a masterful blend of sensuously rough edges wrapped in soulful smoothness, riveting rock currents and potent shots of swing and American roots music. All this is signed, sealed and delivered in a suggestive, in-your-face style guaranteed to captivate even the most stoic of mind, body and spirit. The award-winning Bad Influence features Bob Mallardi on bass and vocals, Hohner endorsed artist Roger Edsall on harp and vocals, Epiphone endorsed artist Michael "Jr" Tash on guitar and vocals, and Sonor endorsed artist David Thaler on the drums.

I am writing on behalf of the nonprofit organization We Will Survive Cancer and Charity Chicks Us. We are currently looking for a jazz quartet that would be willing to perform at an upcoming charity event benefitting The NIH Children's Inn and the nonprofit We Will Survive Cancer. The event is our annual VIP Pink Party, to which we will invite a group little girls who are suffering from rare cancers to escape for an afternoon in the courtyard of the Ritz Carlton Georgetown. This year's theme is arts and culture, and we think a jazz quartet would be an excellent addition to the event! In addition to providing fun activities for the girls (such as manicures, photo booths, and a candy bar etc) we will also be having cocktails and dancing for the parents of the children and other donors who purchase tickets. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to The NIH Children's Inn, which provides free housing for the children that will be this year's VIPs of the party while they are undergoing treatment, and We Will Survive Cancer. The party will be on July 27th from 4pm-7pm. It would also be an excellent opportunity to gain publicity.
