Simeon installed a garbage disposal, did some drywall and painting work, wired several cat 5 connectors, and replaced some exterior trim for me. I was very happy with his work, and would hire him again. His price was reasonable, his work was of high quality, and he was very timely.

Simeon removed and caulked around my bathtub and bathroom sink in two hours. He was punctual and his quality of work was very good. Price was very reasonable. Very professional! I would hire him again.

I found Simeon (Unique Homes) to be an outstanding professional who did excellent work and went above and beyond to make my renovation project as fast and efficient as possible. From the initial estimate to the finished product he demonstrated a meticulous attention to detail. He was always on-time (or early), left the work-site scrupulously clean at the end of each day, and explained every step of the process. My construction project was finished to a very high standard and within the time-frame we agreed. Further, Simeon was also able to solve some tricky wiring problems at the same time! As I told him when my project was finished, he will definitely have the right of first refusal on any additional work I do on my property. I recommend Unique Homes without qualification!

Mr. Slayton was a pleasure to work with. He showed up early, was super flexible with day-of requests, and got the job done quickly and professionally. I would easily suggest employing him for any of your handyman type of needs!

I had Unique Homes (Simeon) complete 4 different projects for me, each progressively bigger. All of them were successful -- although not without little issues that came up now and then, but that were always taken care of. The prices were very good and the jobs were done well. Job #1 - I had a front porch that needed concrete work. This was a relatively small job, but it was done well. Job #2 - This was a remodel of small bathroom. Again, the job was done well and was a good price. And Simeon indulged us owners half-way through the project when we did not like something about the floor tiles we had chosen. Totally our issue, we did not really like how it looked when it started getting installed. But he undid some of his work and we were able to fix it. Job #3 - This was a full bathroom remodel, so a more significant job. Again, this project was done well, but the costs savings really started to come through on this project. We were very happy with the final look of the bathroom. Job #4 - This was by far the biggest job. It was a complete remodel of our master bathroom. I had received various quotes from other contractors in the $30-40K range for the project (including materials). Simeon's prices were less than a third of that, however that did not include any of the materials. In the end, I think the materials is the source of a lot of the savings since I think the others hide mark-ups (or store kick-backs) in the materials. For this project we went to some high end stores and looked at their display designs and chose/copied what we liked. We chosen something that was based on a white marble tile as a base ...and Lowes/HD carried it at a fraction of the cost of Tile City. I think we saved $5k on the marble along. We bought some of the more unique accent stuff in Tile City at full price, but for everything else we were able to replicate the Tile City look with HD or Lowe's materials of equal quality. We bought a high end shower panel, but bought it through Costco. The same fixture at a high-end bathroom store was thousands more than what we paid. At some higher end stores Simeon would give us the Unique Homes discount that he had negotiated. Some places (like the glass doors for the shower) were still expensive...but I ended up with the same bathroom that would have been $40k for about $20K. So yes, I recommend Unique Homes.
