- How did you get started doing this type of work?
More than ten years ago I began working in a photo finishing lab developing film. I decided to take some classes, which led to an internship with a commercial photographer and work as an assistant to wedding photographers. While doing that I worked as a national school photographer. After having my daughter I decided to concentrate on weddings!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I could give is to not settle. If the photographers portraits don't 'speak' to you, you should definitely keep looking, regardless of their price. Everyone starts as an amateur, but you do not want an amateur photographing your wedding.
