They never moved my one item,( a organ ) Linda said they would for $110 an hour, which may go up to 220, I accepted, I was unable to call her back right away so she left, I left messages on 2 different days, when she came in on Monday and I ask for the 20 th, she couldn't do, I ask her to let me know what day she could, she wrote back that they would Not be able to move my item, and yet she had said yes, that was hurtful and unprofessional, my item still isn't moved, sadSep 20, 2018VerifiedLinda S.'s reply
Christine you called me on Friday after hours, I just happened to still be at the office. You wanted 1 item moved and I gave you a price and said we could do this on the following Monday. You needed to call me back in 5 minutes to confirm that Monday worked, but you did not call me. I waited for 45 minutes. When I went into the office on Monday I heard 2 messages from you angry since I did not answer the phone even thought I told you our hours. When you called again on Monday it was too late to do this since my guys were already out on the road for the day. She even tried to call me on Sunday evening. This is s business and she claims that I did not answer. I try to help but when I told her we could not do this on Monday she got upset. What was I to do?

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We base the pricing on the size of the move, the number of stairs, and the distance of the move. These factors determine the labor and the costs of the job itself. Pricing is also based on the size truck needed and the amount of work requested for particular job. For instance some customers want packing, unpacking, disassembly, reassembly on top of usual load and unload duties.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We offer an estimate by phone which most busy customers prefer. When we know the size of the move, number of stairs and distance to new location, we can give a good estimate of the amount of time. The size of the job also determines the number of guys needed which is what the job is based on. It also helps us to determine the size truck to use and materials needed to complete the job professionally.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Years of handling furniture with a "white glove" delivery service. We have handled the most expensive high end pieces and continue to handle customer's household items the same way. We are proud of our reputation of caring for what we move.
