Kristin from the Peninsula K9 group was absolutely AWESOME to work with. As a first time dog owner, I was so excited when I got my puppy, Gunner, but I was also nervous because I had a no idea how to train a dog. I watched a few YouTube videos and learned a couple commands to teach him, but when I lost his attention (he was less than 3 months at the time) I became frustrated and knew I needed some help. Peninsula K9 Training was by far the best deal of all the organizations that provided Puppy Obedience Classes. They offered classes by a well-qualified trainer, at my home, once a week for six weeks and the price was unbeatable!! I immediately scheduled an interest meeting with Kristin to learn more about her and the PK9 group. We met at my home, and she brought me information packets about training my new puppy and other pet health and safety information. We discussed what I was looking for in training classes, and what I wanted to him to learn. After that meeting, I signed Gunner and I up for 6 weeks of training classes with Kristin. We both enjoyed classes - he caught on quickly to commands and I learned how to give the commands and what ways he responded to best. Kristin made things very easy to understand and was very helpful. If I ever had a schedule conflict or a busy week, she was very responsive and flexible, and allowed me to move training days/times! She was always very professional and punctual. She even offered to answer any questions I may have between classes, which came in handy when I had to deal with Gunner's first upset stomach. After six short weeks I have a 4 month old puppy that can sit, lay down, stay, leave it, wait for my command, come when called, and even play hide and seek! I am amazed by how well he's caught on to everything and how he has become a much better listener! I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Peninsula K9 Training and Trainer Kristin. Gunner and I will definitely be returning when it's time for his Basic Obedience Training when he gets to be a little older!Aug 14, 2017
