- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To begin, I like to have a full consultation where we discuss what that person is looking to acheive and how to go about getting to that goal. I love pictures which give a sense of what you do like and also what you do not like. Thus, I ask a good number of questions to devise the best possible game plan to achieve the desired look. We can then talk prices and process (time, etc).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I CONSTANTLY attend classes and educational events. I have been trained by amazing educators from Schwarzkopf Professional, Unite, J Bev, Davines, and many others. Recently, I have had the fortune to take both classes from Guy Tang and Stephanie Binkerhoff ("Hair and Makeup by Steph") in March 2015 (Chicago ABS), which have me a whole new view on my work. Next for me, I will be headed to the elusive COLOR, cut, and style 2015 presented by Behindthechair.com in New Orleans where I will take 4 full days of classes including Guy Tang, Beth Minardi, and Angelo Seminara. I am so excited to keep current and learn the newest, latest, and greatest from the best in the business.
