- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In order to give you the best price and services you are needing please give me the following information. Your location(I need travel distance), type, size, weight & number of pets, feeding info, walking/backyard, how much time you would like me to spend with them each visit, how many visits and most importantly I will need a copy of their shot records (rabies). Once I have this information I will quote you a price. Going forward I will need to meet with you and your pet to complete the contract and collect 100% of the final price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I gather as much information about the pet(s) over the phone and what the owner is looking for in the way of care. A meet and greet is scheduled either at their home or mine depending on where the pet(s) will be staying. The owner will then fill out a contract with all the necessary info on the pet(s). Any dog(s) staying at my home will have to meet with my dogs and cats in order to temperament test them. If all goes well a final agreement is reached for the dog(s) to stay.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in animal science and pet first aid certified. I am always reading the latest info on pet sitting, animal care and nutrition.
