Kyle worked with me as "Post Sound Designer" on a comedic web series I directed. I'm based out of Chicago, so we worked long-distance. Initially I was nervous because our turn-arounds were extremely fast and our content was complex and primarily improv-based. Kyle, not intimidated for a second, defied my expectations and added an element of production value to the series I hadn't been expecting.
I was most impressed by his attention to detail, his creative instincts, and his overall work ethic. He was never late, he was extremely flexible, and he was direct when he had concerns. Above all, he's a person of virtue. I appreciated his patience and earnestness the most. I highly recommend Kyle for any and all projects seeking a valuable team player who cares about his co-workers as much as he does the job.

Working with Kyle Hynes has been an awesome experience in my musical career. The first thing you notice when you walk through the door is an overcoming feeling of comfort. You believe you belong. I have recorded through Kyle for at least three years now and I have to say that some nights that studio felt more like home than any other place. The quality of the recordings is beyond outstanding, every little detail of every song is gone over by a fine toothed comb. I have had people in disbelief that what I was letting them hear was a local band just starting out, sound quality is professional. Kyle is what I would call a perfectionist, he will take the time to hear your ideas and work with you until the finished product is exactly what you wanted or exceeds all expectations you had. The best thing about working with Kyle is that if you are stuck or unsure of something in the recording process he will recommend an idea that in my experience 10 times out of 10 has always been helpful and made the song better for it. Over all, you just won't get this kind of quality and commitment from any other producer. The prices are great too!

I have worked with Kyle at ArtistOne Sound on multiple occasions and for good reason, he is a professional of the highest order. It doesn't matter what size project you have or what your requirements are, he can pull through for you and manage to surpass your highest expectations.
He breathed life into my band's album "Rusted Memories". From producing, tracking, mixing and mastering songs from those sessions to totally helping reimagine songs from a previous session with another studio.
With short notice, he proved once again, why I chose to keep coming back by evolving a short introduction track into a full on instrumental piece all it's own, fit for the wedding it was gifted to.
He will work with you to bring your ideas to life. If you want quality work, this is the man you wish to bring your project to. If you want your already great music to be taken to the next level, this is the man you need to bring your music to.
Working with Kyle, helped us to become better musicians. He encouraged our ideas while bringing his own to help meld them into a perfect union while challenging us to perform above and beyond.
There is something to be said about that special ability of being able to capture the pure essence and energy of a song as if it was being played in a live setting. Something that is now a part of our history as musicians thanks to Kyle and our experience with him.
There is a moment of pride when you hear a finished song...when you are holding the physical representation of it in a disc format. There is a moment of pride when people , friends, fans and even strangers compliment you on your music.
Behind every good album is a good band and the unsung member working behind the scenes to bring the best of your music out.

Understated in equipment and location, but that's not for lack of some incredible sound recording. Super diverse, personable. Everyone's sound, story, tone, message is different, and with such a saturated industry, ArtistOne definitely sets themselves apart by caring deeply and uniquely for each project that they take on.
I asked Kyle to write a short snippet for a short film that I was working on. I knew he specialized in recording and composing for hard rock/metal bands, while I was making a movie with a Wes Anderson sort of feel; much more quirky and gentle music wise. But I had full confidence in his abilities and he took the project on ready to try something different and he knocked it out of the park, sending me a mix by the end of the night. It took a revision or two, but that just goes to show his flexibility and desire to give you what you want with a very fast turnaround.
I later asked him if he'd be comfortable cutting and mixing post audio for a web series we recently completed called Arts & Crafts. Yet another task he had little to no experience with, but again, what sets ArtistOne apart is something that not everyone has; very simply-a real knack for what he's doing. So I had full confidence again, and he churned out 15 minute episodes with full audio cuts and masters within a week that sounded exactly like what we wanted.

Kyle and his studio, while small, are extremely professional. The quality of work, whether the project is small or large, is fantastic. Rather than throwing cash at them and getting a bland product, they take time and get to know you. The learn about your passion, your project, and help you create what YOU want, not just what you pay for. Highly recommend this studio to anyone with any music or sound needs!
