Unprofessional, poor communication and lack of follow through. At first I was not going to leave a negative review and had given him the benefit of the doubt but after review of the job once everything was cleared out it was done half assed. The people he contracted out to cut down my trees were drunk and drinking on the job on my property, then had taken more money from us and I was caught in the middle of trying to cancel a check and their drama. He had said he had never used them before and trusted a recommendation for them. He never communicated that he was even showing up, our original date had been rained out so they showed up out of the blue while I was work. I had a friend working on the deck at the same time and Im active duty Navy so I can't use my cell phone on ship, when I got off work I saw a couple of messages from him stating "hope your house is okay there were drunks working there". Then the company even texted me asking why I gave the drunk girl Eva the money for the tree service when they were supposed to pay them and they took to much, I responded "Why was a drunk girl working on my property and why didn't anyone communicate who was supposed to get paid or when they were coming to do the job" too much drama. After that was cleared up they came back the next day to finish the job and more personal drama between him and his team. Now in the beginning he did recommend getting the branches cleaned up and as an honest broker that I am I will admit that I disregarded his suggestion thinking how bad could branches be so I said we could take care of them on our own. I was wrong and asked if we could get them chipped down and taken away, we agreed on a price and he said he would return the next day. The next day he never came, nor the next day, or the next, I texted him and dealt with a rant about I don't know why she scheduled it today we have another job etc. where I simply stated that I was just reaching out to find out when it was getting done. It was more than enough for me, I told him I would get someone else and he replied "gotcha". I couldn't believe it, after all of the drama that his team brought and the amount of issues they had with everything breaking I was still understanding and in the end he took advantage of me. Luckily I hired another company who charged less, zero drama, on time, and professional! Not to mention no one was drinking or drunk, or losing engagement rings, no broken dump truck in front of neighbors house, stuck bobcat in yard, co worker fight in the front yard, or a guy squatting and chain smoking in my front yard the entire day! Never had so much drama I thought I was on a reality tv show.
