FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A lot of factors go in to pricing freelance jobs. Some of these factors include time packing my kit, time purchasing specific products (if requested), products used during the service, travel time to and from the location, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed Esthetician in the state of Alaska since 2010. I have also worked for Bare Minerals and Smashbox Cosmetics and received additional training from both. I have also recently taken a Makeup Artistry class as part of transferring my license to Virginia, at the International Spa Institute in Newport News, VA.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Makeup has very few hard set rules. Just because someone told you brown eyeshadow is best for you when you were 12 does not mean only wear brown eyeshadow. Makeup is an artform. Express yourself. If you want to have purple eyebrows then you rock your purple eyebrows. Basically, if you have the confidence, you can pull it off!
