I took electric bass lessons with Todd Ellsworth for almost 2 years. I had a decent level of experience when we started, but with him it took my playing to a whole new level. While working with him I saw how a professional musician works and makes a living. I learned the inner working of jazz bass lines and the importance of sight reading. His speaking about his career in music in Nashville TN wass one of the reasons I decided to go to music school. All around a fantastic teacher for any level of bass player looking to improve.
I'm going on week four of guitar lessons with Olivier, and the fact that he hasn't given up on me nor have I thrown in the towel, is a testament to his skill as a teacher. His ability to listen once to any song I choose and one break it down for me into its requisite chords in manageable pieces is not only impressive but inspiring, and makes my lessons tailored to my individual taste in music. He's patient, easy going, and very professional which is a great combination in a music teacher.
I really enjoyed and greatly benefitted from my singing lessons with Sarah. I used to find the bridges in my voice (transitioning from chest to head voice) made me feel less confident with songs that sat in an awkward range, but the exercises Sarah gave me really helped smooth out the sound across my whole range. Since she recorded every lesson I could hear the difference of how I sang the song before and after the exercises and the sound improved so much! If Sarah hadn't moved away, I would still be coming to her for lessons!
I've only had one lesson, but his lessons are tailored to the student which is great. He communicates well and leaves no surprises. I highly recommend Marshall.
Responds quickly. My son loves video game music, and Edward is great in this area. For the first lesson, he gave my son a good overview of options.
Jordan provided guitar lessons for my son for 2.5 years. My child did not have any previous experience with a guitar or with music in general prior to his lessons. Under Jordan's guidance, my son has not only learned the basics, but he has learned to love music. My child can now play classical, jazz, and rock; he has even performed some Ozzy Osbourne for a talent show in front of over 150 people at school! My son has gained confidence in himself and his musical ability through his lessons. I am so glad that Jordan was able to work with my child!
I loved the way he presented music to me, I had been struggling for a long time with the guitar and he got me playing my favorite song in a month, and singing along too!! The class was fun and dynamic so I was never bored or uninterested. Thumbs up!
Camm Layne is very professional in all that he does. No matter if he is playing a solo gig, performing with his local cover band, on the road with the Little Ozzy, the best Tribute band to Ozzy Osborne and Black Sabbath you can find, or sitting in your living room giving you guitar lessons he always gives 110%. If you want a great musical experience you can't go wrong with him. He is very well versed in his instrument and he puts on a great show. He is an excellent player and a well rounded working musician. Check out his work on YouTube, you can find him playing solo, acoustically, with his local cover band, and with Little Ozzy. So go check it out, you won't be disappointed.
I have been teaching individuals guitar and music lessons for six years. My forte is in beginning and intermediate guitar skills along with reading music charts. I have studied music for about 12 years.
Introduction My name is Greg. I am easy going and enthusiastic about sharing guitar knowledge with people eager to learn. I like to help people (especially those brand-new to the guitar) pick the right instrument, find what they enjoy about playing and guide them to any additional resources they might need as their playing progresses. My Teaching Background I have been playing the guitar for 15 years. I have been performing in bands for 10 years. I have played gigs in NYC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. I have been teaching for five years. I have also taught a high school communications class, which has helped me refine my teaching style. My Teaching Philosophy I like to be well-rounded in what my students learn but also like to make sure that they are picking up music theory. I believe it is important that my students understand how to read music and how chords and notes go together. In order to keep students interested in what they are playing, I also teach them songs of their choosing. I generally use Berklee School of Music's Modern Method for Guitar to teach from. It is very thorough and gives a terrific array of playing techniques that will translate into whatever style the student is interested in learning. Rates And Availability My rates are $15 for a half hour and $25 for an hour Lessons are at my studio; however, I am willing to travel to the student. Additional travel rates will be applied depending on distance and range from an additional $5 - $10.
I am a former star of the hit Broadway show, Rent, who provides professional voice, piano and music theory lessons.
Hello. My name is Michael Ripani. I am 22 years old and just received my AS. I'm in a band and write most of our songs. I give guitar and bass lessons as well as music composition. I can teach all ages and willing to drive to your location.
I've been playing guitar for 5 years. I'm well-versed in several genres including rock, pop, folk, and my favorite, the blues. I am also well-versed in the fundamentals, chord structures, finger development and timing. I know a versatility of guitar techniques and can give one-on-one instruction to students. I can also instruct on things like proper guitar management. If the students like a particular artist or band, I am quick at picking up and figuring out how to play others' songs and can teach that to my students.
I am musically educated and have experience teaching guitar. If you are willing to put in some work, you will make progress with my instructions.

The good thing about my program students and parents love when you can travel to them to make it easier for them.
I began playing the tuba in the 7th grade, which taught me how to read music. Since the bass guitar and the tuba's music notation is exactly the same, I began playing bass in 1992. I played lead guitar for 22 years, prior to changing to bass. I'm 55 years old, and have over 40 years of experience playing in bands (since I was 14). For three semesters, I studied music at Va, State College (present Va. State University) while marching in the band. My services include a bass guitar and beginner's book available for the student, until they can purchase their own. I have a studio behind my home (used for band rehearsals), where the lessons will be given. Other items provided are bass amp, cable, guitar stand, and audio system for listening purposes.
I teach beginning to intermediate private violin lessons. Students aging five and older can learn privately through an experienced teacher in a wonderful facility.
I have been teaching piano for nearly thirty years. I focus on enjoying the instrument and music in general. I am a believer in promoting enjoyment, in addition to a strong base in musical theory. I offer piano lessons for a lifetime of enjoyment.

I have played guitar and piano over 20 years. I have not taught many people, but I think I can help get you started.
