FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be as transparent as possible with my prices so that there are no surprises. I am generally willing to work with your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial Consultation - Typically done through Thumbtack Messenger, email, or phone. This is when I get an understanding of your needs and expectations and answer any questions you might have. I will gather details relevant to the project and provide you with a quote. 2. Contract/Deposit - Once the details are finalized I will put together a contract and invoice which I will then send to your email. The contract can be signed right on your phone or computer. I ask for a 25% retainer fee to reserve the date, this is because I typically have multiple clients inquiring for the same date. 3. Shoot Date - This is where the magic happens. 4. Post Processing - Your photos or video will be edited. Turnaround time is typically 4 weeks for weddings, 2 weeks for portraits, but I always strive for a faster delivery whenever possible. 5. Delivery - Your photos will be delivered via a secure link to an online gallery where you can view, share, and download your photos anytime.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Although low prices might be enticing, make sure to take time to check out a photographer's portfolio and reviews. Make sure the quality and style of their work matches your vision.
