I took electric bass lessons with Todd Ellsworth for almost 2 years. I had a decent level of experience when we started, but with him it took my playing to a whole new level. While working with him I saw how a professional musician works and makes a living. I learned the inner working of jazz bass lines and the importance of sight reading. His speaking about his career in music in Nashville TN wass one of the reasons I decided to go to music school. All around a fantastic teacher for any level of bass player looking to improve.
Fantastic place to go, I went for singing / music lessons. Their heart for what they do and doing it for the right reason and in the right way is incredible. And the quality of talent they develop is great!
I'm going on week four of guitar lessons with Olivier, and the fact that he hasn't given up on me nor have I thrown in the towel, is a testament to his skill as a teacher. His ability to listen once to any song I choose and one break it down for me into its requisite chords in manageable pieces is not only impressive but inspiring, and makes my lessons tailored to my individual taste in music. He's patient, easy going, and very professional which is a great combination in a music teacher.
Chase did an amazing job Dj ing a wedding reception. He was on time engaging and rocked the reception!
There's no other teacher I would want or ever need other than Brandon Jarod. Not only has he made learning the guitar extremely easy, but I have never seen the things he's done on the guitar live. Sure yea I've seen YouTube clips of people playing behind their back, with their teeth, seen films and documentaries where guitar players played over there head, with one arm and all that jazz. But it is a different and inspirational experience to see it right in front of you, in person, by the man teaching you the instrument. Plus his personality Is sooo chill and easy to get along with, and creates a comfortable setting for you to learn, This man is the best
Dana really loves kids and it shows! My 13 year daughter looks forward to her weekly lesson. Dana has also proved to be flexible with scheduling and lessons are easy on the pocketbook too. $$
Jordan provided guitar lessons for my son for 2.5 years. My child did not have any previous experience with a guitar or with music in general prior to his lessons. Under Jordan's guidance, my son has not only learned the basics, but he has learned to love music. My child can now play classical, jazz, and rock; he has even performed some Ozzy Osbourne for a talent show in front of over 150 people at school! My son has gained confidence in himself and his musical ability through his lessons. I am so glad that Jordan was able to work with my child!
Out of all the guitar teachers iv'e had, garrets the beast for sure. Of course the first lesson was weird but once he finds the you, he completely relates to you. like i am more of a hardcore man, so when we have our lessons so is he. Me and a couple of my friends are trying to make a band, and we all have garret so he helps us write, record, mix, master everything. this is my second year with garret and i love this man! it's going to be my second time going to this camp and we are recording four songs! i completly recemend this guitar teacher to your kids, he is the best
I have only been taking lessons with Steve for three weeks and am already way beyond what I achieved trying to teach myself. His mix of classical training, music theory, and popular music makes it so very interesting and easy to learn.
I began playing the tuba in the 7th grade, which taught me how to read music. Since the bass guitar and the tuba's music notation is exactly the same, I began playing bass in 1992. I played lead guitar for 22 years, prior to changing to bass. I'm 55 years old, and have over 40 years of experience playing in bands (since I was 14). For three semesters, I studied music at Va, State College (present Va. State University) while marching in the band. My services include a bass guitar and beginner's book available for the student, until they can purchase their own. I have a studio behind my home (used for band rehearsals), where the lessons will be given. Other items provided are bass amp, cable, guitar stand, and audio system for listening purposes.
I offer beginner and intermediate guitar and bass lessons, including electric or acoustic guitar. Have you always wanted to learn to play the guitar? Well, now is the time!
