My son is taking Piano lessons since last six months. She makes piano playing techniques very easy for my son to understand. My son recently participated in the recital class and it was so motivating for him. I would definitely recommend all Mrs. Booher for Piano lessons.

I loved the teacher providing twice piano recitals a year in the public library. Students had a chance to listen to how well other pianists played. It is also a good training opportunity for students performing without a fear. I'm happy with the teacher.

I had a piano lesson with Bryce. It was fantastic. I have been playing piano for a couple of years teaching myself. I can honestly say I learned more in our one lesson than I had in those two years. Bryce was so easy to work with and was constructive without ever being condescending or putting pressure on me. He gave general information to me and then let me apply it in a way that made sense. All in all, the experience was wonderful.

Claudia is a fantastic teacher! A gifted and classically trained vocalist herself, Claudia brings musical range, technical virtuosity and human depth to her teaching. She is warm, knowledgeable and fun and I'd highly recommend Claudia to students of all ages and musical backgrounds.

Both of my children took lessons from Adella. When one child wanted to learn jazz piano to be able to play with her school jazz ensemble, Adella quickly switched gears and helped make that happen. My other child took voice lessons from Adella for two reasons: 1. to help be a better singer for school ensembles. 2. to prepare for college auditions. My child was accepted into one of the best public university music programs in the country. While this second accomplishment was due in part to the voice quality of my child, Adella is the one who taught her the skills, the repetoire and the process for auditioning. She even accompanied us to the auditions to play for the auditions. Adella became a member of our family. She is gifted, talented and truly understands how the young mind (age 6 - 18) learns and how the young instrument should be properly trained, educated, challenged at all the right levels in order to excel and, most importantly, enjoy music for a lifetime.

My daughter started taking lessons from Dana about a month ago! She has made so much progress in a very short amount of time. Dana is enthusiastic and so much fun! Dana is professional while at the same time makes learning fun. It is obvious that music is her passion! My daughter loves going to piano lessons!

Joshua provides piano lessons for my son. He started as a begginer without any previous knowledge of playing the piano. Since we've started my son is not only playing music but reading it as well! The lessons are very thorough and informative. I have referred Joshua to people all over the city!

My daughter showed an interest in piano lessons and has loved every minute of it for the past 2 years. She continues to learn and grow through her lessons and I love hearing her play and practice at home. This has been such a great experience for the whole family.

I worked with Mike over a period of several months last year, I had a goal piece in mind that felt over my head at the time, and he worked with me towards that goal by starting with the basics, some exercises, theory, and instruction on how to practice piano music since I had never had any official instruction, just tinkering by ear that I did when I was younger. Mike paid attention to things I could do to stay motivated as I worked through our lessons and practice time, and when he felt that I was ready for the goal piece we started breaking it down into sections and he guided me through practicing the sections. I did successfully learn my goal piece and still go back and play through it for enjoyment on a regular basis. Really happy with what I learned.

I have only worked with "Ms. Lindy" a few times but I am already impressed with her skill level, both musically and with children. I look forward to continuing our son's lessons with her and he does too!

About

I am a piano teacher who is qualified to teach students of all ages and levels. I received graduate degrees in piano performance from the University of Tennessee and Florida State University. Lessons are held once a week at my home studio in the Museum District. Depending on the age and level of the student, a 30 min, 45 min, or 60 min lesson is offered. Students will learn different repertoire, theory, and sight-reading in each weekly lesson. In my piano studio, students have the opportunity to participate in local music festivals and competitions organized by the Richmond Music Teacher Association. There are also two recitals a year where the students will be able to perform for family and friends. I will be happy to schedule a trial lesson and meet with you.

About

I am a piano, cello and music theory teacher. I have a BA in Music (Cello Performance, Minor in Piano) earned from a music college in Russia. I am highly professional. Since 2010, my students participated in over 25 recitals and concerts at College of William and Mary, Crosswalk Community Church, King's Way Church, Tabernacle Baptist Church, Greenfield Senior Living, Patriot's Colony, and many other venues. My students also participated in The National Federation of Music Clubs for the last 4 years in a row. All of them received superior rating, and four of them already received Golden Cups. I have been judging piano solo events for the last 3 years. Our recent performing project was playing in the Bard's Market at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival. Three of my students did an exceptional job entertaining the audience by playing a classical piano repertoire. I also provide wedding/special occasion entertainment (cello, piano, and violin) as a trio, duet, solo in any combination.
