Nate and Luke did a very good job with our move. They called a few minutes prior to arriving and were set to arrive right on time. They worked hard and took good care of our things, and several times came to ask questions about my preferences with different things. The service overall is not cheap but we were satisfied overall with a job well done. We will use them when it comes time to move again.

Worth every penny! This crew is extremely nice, professional, accommodating, and overall experienced. We had to get out of our house very early and they were able to accommodate an earlier start time essentially a day before we needed to move. Their original estimate of time to move was spot on, as we were right at 6 hours total move time. This 3 man crew works smarter, not harder and makes it seem like 6 guys were moving us. They were extremely careful with our belongings, and we had zero damage to our items or home. If we ever need moving services again, we would definitely go with Cavalier Moving!

Cavalier Moving was excellent!!!! They arrived a few minutes early and got the job done in just about an hour. They went above and beyond for me with a piece of furniture that I needed taken to the Goodwill. I highly recommend their services.

I cannot recommend Cavalier Moving enough! All of the movers were professional, respectful and wonderful to work with! They showed up on time, completed all the work that was asked of them and they did it all with a smile on their face! They were also very affordable! I was pleasantly surprised at our end cost seeing as it was a bigger job than I had originally planned!! So happy I decided to go with them!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat hourly rate with a 2 hour minimum on all of our jobs. After the 2 hour minimum, all jobs will be prorated down to the minute. We never roundup.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My partner Josh and I both started working for a company called Tiger Moving in Greenville, SC while we were both in college. After graduation, this job turned into a career when both of us were promoted into managerial roles that helped catapult Tiger into the company it is today. We moved to RVA because we saw a city that is missing the personal touch that we bring to each job Cavalier Moving does.
