Our senior management staff is comprised of family with one goal and that is to be the best moving company period! Our team, staff, and movers, have integrity, which means they do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Our team knows that accidents can happen, and when they do, our people own up to their mistakes and we immediately make it right for our clients then adjust the procedure or process to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We use the highest quality products available in the marketplace to protect the furniture and the homes from any damage during the move. We equip our crews with the most updated equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure our moves run smoothly and efficiently. We utilize a state of the art moving specific software program and CRM that enables the sales department to collect the inventories of items to be moved and/or stored and to give the most accurate estimates in the industry. Our trucks are equipped with GPS tracking and each crew has a tablet that notifies the client of their estimated arrival times, allows them to electronically sign the contract, it also tracks the labor hours for the job and finally allows our crew to take the final payment. Our company runs like a well-oiled machine. Piano Moving

Office Moving

Our company hired Heroes to move our office and storage unit from Glen Allen to Shockoe Bottom this weekend. Corey and Lori were very helpful throughout the entire process from our first walkthrough of the office to assess how much truck space we'd need, getting me quotes in a timely manner, to planning flexible dates for our weekend move. Knowing how crazy traffic can be in Shockoe Bottom, Corey also took it upon himself to contact the city to register no parking signs in front of our office, and coordinated with RPD to make sure a couple of illegally parked cars were removed when we arrived. Sorry (not sorry) if that was your car, but the signs had been up for 2 days! The moving team of three guys (Gary, Clinton and Kevin I believe) did a great job despite weather in the mid-90's and an elevator that couldn't accommodate all of our furniture. They moved our massive boardroom table up 4 flights of stairs quickly, safely and without any damage. Everyone had a great attitude throughout our 8-hour long move, all while helping disassemble, reassemble and put our new office together in a flash. We highly recommend Heroes as they're professional, courteous, efficient, safe and reasonably priced. They made the moving process, something we all dread, about as effortless as possible.

Local Moving (under 50 miles)

The quote was fair priced for the area and amount of home goods that needed to be moved. They showed up on-time, took extreme care with all of my belongings and came with great conversation. These gentlemen are professionals and they showed it with the care and handling of my furniture. Everything was wrapped in moving blankets, taped and carried in without a single scratch on the walls. They also included carpet runners at no charge; which is not something other companies do. If I ever have to move again, and hopefully I don’t; I’m going with these guys again!

Long Distance Moving

Corey and his guys were excellent and we could not have picked a better company to move with. They handled all of our boxes and furniture with the utmost care and had us all packed, moved, and unloaded in 4-5 hours, which was a Godsend for us and our little ones. They charged an extremely reasonable amount to move us, and the way they conducted themselves was nothing but kind and professional. If you need to hire someone please hire these guys, they were awesome!

Top notch service. The guys treated our furniture and house with kit gloves. All were very nice, well mannered and very careful with our furniture. As a very OCD personality, I could not have been more pleased! Highly recommend and encourage people to hire these guys!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I do have a standard pricing system for the diffent jobs I perform. Piano moves are priced by the size of the piano and if steps are involved. Houses and offices are priced by labor hours and truck fee. Junk removal is priced according to the square footage used in the truck or trailer.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When working with a new client I like to either speak with them on the phone or meet in person to discuss details of the upcoming move so I can be fully prepared, for the job at hand, with the correct tools, equipment and properly sized truck. This also gives the client an opportunity to ask me any questions they may have about the move or any other services we offer.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I was trained and worked along side a piano tuner and mover who has worked in the industry for most of his life. I try to take as many online courses as I can offered by organizations such as the American Moving & Storage Association.
