FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do so many different types of projects, that it is hard to have a standard model for pricing. Some projects vary wildly in complexity, and only after meeting with a client to discuss their needs and want, will I give a quote. After quoting, I almost never deviate from that price, unless the perameters of the project change drastically mid-project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first have a pre-production meeting to listen to their story, and find out their needs. This way I can best assess if I am the right fit for what they are trying to accomplish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the University of Colorado in Boulder for Journalism and Film, then to the Colorado Film/Video Institute in Denver to study cinematography. I have freelanced around the country since then, and have worked in local television in Roanoke for the past 11 years. I also do a lot of freelance work in this area in my time off from WSLS.
