Anderson Visual did an outstanding job on a short turnaround video project. Ryan provided outstanding advice and direction in completing the video on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend Anderson Visual for your video projects.Sep 8, 2016Verified
Ryan was a consummate professional in shooting video of my sculpture and conducting the interview. He made sure to get a lot of material for editing and the final product showed that the extra time spent filming paid off with an amazing finished product. His editing skills and the way he made the video interview flow were superb.Jun 21, 2016
Ryan's work is excellent. We've had the opportunity to work with him on numerous video projects. He is a highly talented, adept videographer with outstanding editing skills. And, he's great to work with. Highly recommend.Jun 20, 2016
Ryan has done several video shoots for us at Bath County Tourism. Not only is he the ultimate professional but, he has the amazing ability to look through that camera lens and see the story unfold in the images he seeks. He always ends up creating a story through his images that is unique, fresh, engaging and beautifully crafted. Anyone who is lucky enough to have Ryan behind the camera, will have the best of the best. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly.Jun 20, 2016

Ryan did an exceptional job, The video was moving. All of my contacts were brought to tears by the sensitivity and compassion demonstrated by his work. He was prompt and tirelessly professional at every turn in a volatile extremely sensitive situation. We will never use anyone else if Ryan is available.Jun 18, 2016
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do so many different types of projects, that it is hard to have a standard model for pricing. Some projects vary wildly in complexity, and only after meeting with a client to discuss their needs and want, will I give a quote. After quoting, I almost never deviate from that price, unless the perameters of the project change drastically mid-project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first have a pre-production meeting to listen to their story, and find out their needs. This way I can best assess if I am the right fit for what they are trying to accomplish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to the University of Colorado in Boulder for Journalism and Film, then to the Colorado Film/Video Institute in Denver to study cinematography. I have freelanced around the country since then, and have worked in local television in Roanoke for the past 11 years. I also do a lot of freelance work in this area in my time off from WSLS.
