We rented a car for our wedding. Although we made several calls prior to the date, the afternoon of the wedding the driver called fifteen minutes before he was to arrive to tell me he would be 5-10 minutes late. Forty minutes AFTER the scheduled pick up I packed myself, in my wedding attire, and my party into my own car to drive myself. We found the driver about a half mile away on the side of the road. In the interim while waiting we called the driver and the main company several times. After picking up the phone once, when I called back my phone calls went to voice mail. We quickly drove back to my house, wasting another ten minutes, transferred everyone and went. I ended up not able to meet with my photographer, as planned, at my venue because we arrived only twenty minutes before my ceremony was scheduled to start, instead of an hour earlier.
The car itself was nice, but there was no ice in it and later on when we were driving with the photographer part of the fabric on the ceiling fell down onto my new husband. Needless to say we didn't get any shots inside the car. However, in terms of cleanliness and looking good, it did. We were unable to open the windows even after we asked the driver to unlock them.
The driver was courteous enough and after the service helped get us where we needed to be for pictures and did get everyone home.
After several phone calls we got in touch and they refunded us the equivalent of an hour of service.
