FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
(1) I charge a flat rate of $65 per issue to assess and potentially (time permitting) remedy what ails your device! This includes up to a two hour call. (2) If you would like me to travel to you, I charge $1/mile (one-way) from my curb in Suffolk to yours. No transportation fee is charged if you come to me! (3) I sell all replacement parts at-cost! PERIOD! You only pay for my technical savvy and bargain hunting prowess! I typically find quality replacements via eBay for pennies on the dollar vice direct OEM from manufacturer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
((1)) Get a feel for what the customer is looking for based on their request, and adjust to meet and exceed their need(s); ((2)) Assess what the problem might be, based on the Customer's submission; ((3)) Collect additional details to aid in identifying the root-cause of issue. Such as pictures of any apparent/suspected damage, the make/model details, and/or anything else unusual or abnormal; ((4)) Review device documentation, discuss repair techniques with other professionals, and finally conduct a cursory part search based on anything that's likely damaged; ((5)) Describe most reasonable options and their associated costs; ((6)) Clarify terms and limitations;
