Introduction: Hi! I'm Dan Stone, a licensed home inspector with 30 years of construction and remodeling experience. I've loved architecture since I was a child - I love people, and I can always see potential and I know that almost nothing is cause for panic. Great experience!!! I am a first time home buyer. Dan responded to my request very quickly. I had contacted 2 other inspectors and they did not respond in 24 hours to my request. Dan responded within 4 hours and the appointment was set up quickly. I was present at the inspection and he explained everything he was checking and took the time to explain something if I had questions or concerns. His report was thorough, well done and easy to read. Would highly recommend.

Dan was outgoing, he didn't take a long time to get our home inspected which made me nervous at first; however, when he sent the report it was VERY thorough.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing depends on the size of the home but almost all of my clients pay less for me than they would have elsewhere. And they get a better experience out of it! Average homes are about $350.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call me, email me, or text me. Pick a day and time, send me the address. I will send you an invoice online through Square. That way you can pre-pay online with your credit card. When the inspection is finished, as soon as the report is done I will send a link to your report that you can view or print anytime.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Continued education is a requirement and building materials and methods are continually changing. I am also still doing some remodeling work so I am always seeing something I need to learn more about.
