Stay away! I purchased a horse from here and Charlie Pearce, the owner of Gypsy Thunder Ranch, agreed to keep boarding him there. No written board agreement was generated but a verbal was reached for twice daily feeding, full board including hay and grain for $250. Two months after, when the hay ran out, no horses on the grounds were getting fed hay and I was not informed. My horse dropped weight and was only being fed once daily with limited supplies of dirty water. I am a disabled veteran and experienced a financial hardship--two months I was unable to pay for board. Without prior notice or following legal steps of obtaining a court order, Charlie Pearce sold my horse and notified me after the fact. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Gypsy Thunder Ranch and Charlie Pearce of 150 Horseback Ln in Suffolk.
