- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the complexity of the return. I do not charge by the form, but the forms can help me to estimate the complexity and the time that it will tax to complete the tax return.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask a new client to bring/send me a copy of their last tax return. Usually I speak with the client for a few minutes and ask them some questions such as whether they own a home, have any interest or dividend income, have rental property, etc. This helps me to advise them as to what I will need to prepare their taxes for the current year.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CPA licensed in Virginia. I am in the tax business so it keeps me up to date with tax laws and any current trends.
