No, my home is vacant,
Yes, my home is furnished
Leslie walked through my home, listened to my ideas and pointed me in the right direction with paint colors, rug choices and window treatments. I was impressed with her designer knowledge and her willingness to share ideas that extended beyond the current project. I have a new perspective on interior decorating as a result of working with Leslie.May 16, 2015Verified
Leslie has helped me with my decorating plan for two of my homes. I enjoy working with her as she brings great ideas to the table but she is not too pushy about them. I may do a lot of the leg work with finding fabrics, paint colors, etc, but her suggestions and ideas always tie the project together so beautifully. She is a pleasure to work with! She is timely for appointments and responsive to my needs. Her workroom does a gorgeous job with my custom window treatments and I simply could not be more pleased with her services. I will continue to recommend her to others as a great decorating resource.Oct 23, 2013
Leslie's helped me with four unique locations from redecorating to starting from scratch. She listens to her clients so that her ideas are right on target with their vision. Everyone raves about my homes from the window treatments to the walls (wallpaper/paint/tiles) to the colors (bold & beautiful or soft & subtle) to the room layout. Her results speak for themselves! Thanks, Leslie!Nov 2, 2010
Leslie helped me refresh my 13-year-old home with particular attention to the family room. It is large with lots of big windows overlooking a lake. I wanted to update the colors and furnishings, leaving the outdoor scene as the focal point. She was a huge help in selecting colors and fabrics and giving suggestions. Leslie recommended a faux paint technique to replace wallpaper in the kitchen. I had mixed feelings about a faux paint finish but the "artist" Leslie recommended made a sample board that was exactly what I had pictured. My kitchen looks wonderful! I would highly recommend Leslie Watson Leake to anyone no matter how large or small their project. It was great working with her!Nov 2, 2010

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer pricing to fit most households allowances for a design project. It varies on the services sought by clientele. This is usually discussed during the initial appointment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I believe I find out more about a new client by listening. I try to determine their goals, their time frame to accomplish those goals and a realistic allowance to achieve what they desire. A tour of the space is usually the first step, putting my clients at ease is of utmost importance as well. By listening to the answers to my questions will tell me a LOT about what they are looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My best answer is my dual B.S. degree in Psychology/Sociology from James Madison University! Lol, it has come in handy more times than I can tell you. I am a 15 year Homearama Award Winner. I have taken extensive courses on design, window treatment applications, marketing, customer service, attended many national conventions and have been a public speaker on interior design. Over 30 years of owning my own interior design business has given me more experience than most.
