A few months ago, I had a caterer scheduled, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to resort to someone else which was MJ. From the first contact interview, she was a great help with planning a menu for our event on December 11, 2014, and she exceeded my expectations. We were able to keep the meal within our budget, and she was very helpful and accommodating with offering different options. Our event was located at the Woman's Club of Portsmouth in Portsmouth, VA. When she arrived about 30 minutes behind schedule due to traffic, we met for the first time, and she was very friendly and professional. As she unloaded her van and took everything to the kitchen, I hardly heard her, but I saw her diligently working like a pro. She was setup within 30 - 45 minutes. She was still on time to serve our group. I was also very pleased to see that she went above and beyond by bringing her own tables and making sure her she presentation matched our décor. She even labeled each of the items. Everyone loved all that was served on the menu. It was hot and very appetizing, and her culinary skills were outstanding. I went blindly by faith, and trusted her completely. MJ was my first and best experience with a caterer! Professionalism and delicious food at best!!! Might I add that the website sold me. Everyone is still talking about how wonderful the food was. Thanks, MJ.
