overall I would NOT recommend this pet sitter, especially for parents that prefer someone to pet sit at their own homes. From my experience, this pet sitter did not maintain her professionalism, failed to communicate properly and did not uphold her commitment. I hired Maria for a week so that my family and I could enjoy my destination wedding in Mexico. I felt very comfortable with her, expecially since we did meet n greets. I bought a camera just for the hallway so that while we were on our trip we could see him at times and I definately informed Maria about this and which she confirmed she had no issues with. After discussing my expectations, she increased her prices and said "it sounds like u want me to be with him at all times and therefore will increase daily charges "and I was ok with this because I wanted the best for my baby. However, once I was in Mexico everything went downhill. She blocked the camera which really concerned me and was a red flag to me. I asked her to unblock it But she did not. She was not with him at all times. She said she she would be gone 2 to 3 hours per day which I was fine with however she complained about it once I was in mexico and after we clearly agreed on the 2 to 3 hours. When I asked her questions about my baby or the pet sit, like any normal question a parent would ask while they are in vacation away from their loved one she freaked out and stated I didn't trust her so then I felt scared to ask her about my baby. She started to ignore my calls. I was so scared and concerned about my baby at one point in Mexico that I seriously considered getting a flight back. I didn't known how he was doing. She blocked the camera and wouldent pick up my calls at one point. I had to replace her immediately. Thank God our family friend took over. The dilemma stole alot of my happiness while I was trying to celebrate my wedding.

I worked with Maria in a veterinary hospital for a while and she was always extremely caring, responsible, and hard working! She always treated our patients as if they were her own pets. I would definitely recommend her for pet sitting!

Maria is the most caring, compassionate person that I have ever met. She is real, and loves animals probably more than anyone that I have worked with. She is reliable, a hard worker, and dependable. I would trust her with any of my pets, and would highly recommend her for any pet sit!

Maria is a great pet sitter. She has sat with my cats several times. They love her. They almost don't miss me. She treats them great. Stays awhile and gives them lovings. They are always happy when I return from my trip.

Maria used to work with me at a veterinary hospital and she is always so sweet and gentle with all the animals. I have a week long event coming up and she is the first person I thought of to watch my fur babies. There's no one else I'd trust to care for them while I'm gone and it's even more wonderful that she is willing to stay with them in my home so they can get all the love and attention that they normally have with me.
