I bought a hair flower from a popular accessory store and paid $10 for it to fall apart the next day. I decided I needed to make my own and the rest is Lotus Opus history.

Its best to have an idea of what you want ahead of time. Do your research and find what fits you best. Also, I have found that cheaper is definitely not always better.
