We have been in business since 2004, giving us many years of experience dealing with unique situations. Just like people, no two animals are just the same. Whether you are away on vacation, traveling for business, or just have a busy work schedule, we are there to help you care for your special family members. We specialize in providing reliable, affectionate, and affordable care for your cats, dogs, and other small animals. Unlike many other pet sitting companies, our sitters are employees, rather than independent contractors. This allows us to completely control the type of service provided to the client. All workers are covered by liability and workers' compensation insurance. We are insured and bonded.

I highly recommend Cindy Thibault / Wags To Whiskers,Inc..I was interested in adopting a dog but was concerned about leaving him home alone all day while I was at work.A coworker at the Shelter recommended her services and it has worked out very nicely.I felt better bringing a dog home and knew he would get some love, attention and a walk while I was a work.She is very professional, on time, has never missed a day, and flexible if I need to change a day..She provides a journal and makes comments on how the visit went, time she was there and any concerns she might have.She also posts a picture on FB of your pet which is so comforting to see your pet enjoying the visit / walk.Love those pics!!..Cindy & Laura have done an exceptional job for us..I wouldn't change a thing..

We found the very best in pet care for our 2 dogs and cat. Each furry face has specific requirements and Cindy goes above and beyond during each visit. We went on vacation and could see her taking care of our fur babies on camera by spending time with them and making sure all their needs are met. We came home to happy, healthy pets and the best part was the 'writeup' she did during each visit..her observations sure were on target and very amusing! She truly cares for our pets and is thorough about each detail. We have had the pleasure of knowing her since 2009. When we moved from Virginia Beach to Currituck, we called her first to ensure that she could still pet sit for us, our babies are our family and Cindy has become a part of our family too! Thank you for everything you have done to give us peace of mind when we are out of town, you are truly the best!

Cindy has been caring for our animals, current and past, for almost ten years. During that time she has helped potty train a new puppy with her daily visits, cared for a couple of senior kitties who just needed a warm lap and some kinds words, a rascally kitten who hides, a lonely lovebird, and fish, fish , fish. Throughout it all, Cindy provided professional service, going beyond the basic petsitter duties to keep our home looking lived in while we're away. Heck, she even waters our Christmas tree! I LOVE her detailed daily journal entries and the extra things she does to keep our animals, and ultimately us, happy and secure. We have never had any difficulty with scheduling care, even at the busy holidays. From Wags to Whiskers is highly recommended!

From Wags to Whiskers has provided top notch pet care to our three, very active, medium to large breed dogs and our cat for the last 2 years. Cindy and her employees have demonstrated the utmost dependability, flexibility, and of course, commitment to providing exceptional pet care. They have always been able to accommodate last minute and weekend walk requests, and they look after our pets as if they were their own, including when we are out of town. If there has ever been anything a little off with our pets or our home they always communicate this to us. Our pack can be quite a handful at times- but Cindy and her experienced walkers have been able to work with our reactive pit bull mix through her various issues. They also quickly learned our pets' individual personalities, needs, and quirks. Our pets are dearly loved members of our family, so we are very selective with whom we allow to handle our pets - and we are so happy to have found such wonderful and experienced caretakers for our kids!

Cindy came highly recommended to us 10 years ago by our neighbors. Since then, we have referred her to other family members and neighbors. Our dog is our child and from the moment Cindy met with us, we felt the love she has for all animals. She is patient, kind, compassionate, dependable and trustworthy. When we were out-of-town and a strong storm was approaching, she took our baby to her house and kept him overnight until the storm passed because she knew he was on anxiety meds for storms. This was an extreme circumstance! She goes out of her way with all her "babies". We have total peace of mind when our little one is in Cindy's care! Oh, and he LOVES her too!!!! We can't say enough good things about the care she gives. Great communicator!!

Although it is nice of friends and family to offer to care for your animals, the best of intentions does not make for the best of care. Because it is not their job, your cat or dog may be forgotten or not given as much attention as you would like. Also, given the number of years we have been providing this service, we have the experience to deal with things when the unexpected happens.
