FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to get to know my clients first before photographing them. This way, I not only know what they're expecting but they know what to expect of me. I like to have at least one conversation over the phone or at the very least have clients fill out my questionnaire before their session, to make sure we're on the same page.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm ALWAYS looking to other photographers for inspiration. I often tune into Creative Live webinar broadcasts to learn from other pros. Other than that, practice practice practice! I usually always have a personal project of some sort going on the side.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a photojournalist for my college newspaper, The Breeze, and came to love capturing life as it unfolded in an unobtrusive way. As a senior in college, I created my website and logo, started with senior portraits and grew it from there.
