She appeared warm, never harsh, and truly has an obvious love for music, along with teaching music to others. My two kids, 5 and 7 years old, are enjoying their piano lessons with Jan. She is always on time and gives us flexibility about time or date if we need it. She comes to our home. We can see our children improve. She is very patient with them and encouraging. We highly recommend her. We are very happy with her.

We are having home lessons with Ms. Haflin with my 7 and 8 year olds, and they look forward to them very much. Ms. Haflin is very patient, and she has a way of ensuring they learn proper rhythm and techniques instead of rushing them through each lesson. She leaves them feeling accomplished and having fun. We are very fortunate to have her travel and give quality lessons for our children.

My daughter is 9 years old. I highly recommend Jan Haflin as a piano teacher since we had a good experience. I do recommend that parents support their kid's music education to make the experience more enjoyable since music takes a lot of dedication.
