I do not even know where to begin with this review, because Bill Stutz and S&A Entertainment became more than just a DJ service. I should probably begin at the beginning, where my husband and I were looking for a reasonably priced DJ service. We had budgeted no more than $1000 on a DJ service, but were looking for something a bit out of the ordinary. We are both Virginia Tech graduates and had planned to do an entrance that centered around how our football team enters the stadium, complete with enter sandman. With my husband living in Texas, I was tasked with searching and meeting various entertainment companies in the Williamsburg area. I met with several entertainment groups and had found that either they were not a right fit with out personalities or they were simply way out of our price range. Then I met Bill. Throughout our initial conversation, we realized that we had quite a lot in common. Bill is not only an excellent entertainer, but also owns an engineering company and my husband is an engineer. He and his family are from Pennsylvania and grew up near where my husband grew up. And to add icing to the cake, his daughter graduated from Virginia Tech and was a member of the Marching Virginians, our exclaimed marching band. I did not even have to explain what we wanted and he already knew exactly how we had envisioned our entrance. He even helped us figure out the logistics of how we would create the feel and dynamic entrance. We met up approximately 6 times prior to the wedding and he became more a part of our family than just our DJ. On our wedding day, the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was provided within our tight budget. Every song was chosen with car and matched the ceremonys mood to a T. But what truly blew me away was the elevated touches he added to our reception and entrance. Not only did he play enter sandman for our entrance, but he added smoke and light effects that I could have only dreamed of. It was beyond my expectations. He decorated the stage with Virginia Tech memorabilia and showcased a Marching Virginians uniform. He knew my husband and I and brought touches to our wedding that made it beyond memorable. Our guests have commented on and still continue to comment that S&A Entertainment made our wedding one of the most enjoyable that they have been to. Our guests flooded the dance floor and remained there for the duration of the event and it brings tears to my eyes to think of this. It was the MOST fun I have ever had at a wedding and still cannot believe that this was OUR wedding. Thank you Bill Stutz and family for making our day beyond what we could have imagined. Not only did we gain friends, but instead gained an extension of our family. I would recommend these services to any bride and groom. They truly are the best.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are members of the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA) and we attend their annual show each year where the latest and greatest sound, lighting, photo booth equipment and accessories are displayed by top of the line vendors. We also constantly study videos and lessons learned from other professional across the country.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As I mentioned before, my entire family has a true love of music. We are all musicians in addition to my daughter and I being DJs/MCs. We also love to entertain and to see people having a great time. That means more to us than the money but, hey, we have to pay for the equipment, gas, insurance, etc., etc. somehow.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wedding receptions, theme parties, holiday parties, and several pool parties for Williamsburg area timeshare resorts.
