We contacted Dennis to send someone to dissamble our sofa, bring it downstairs, and assemble it again. The handyman was supposed to arrive at 4, and when he did not, I texted him to see what time he arrives. He texted back and indicated that he will be there in about 30 or so minutes. The next time, it will be nice if the handy person texted us if he knew he was going to be late. When he arrived, he was really nice and professional. He worked assiduously until he finished (8:45 p.m.). While I consider his work neat and professional, the mere fact that he arrived late without notifying us (I had to contact him to ensure his arrival status), the fact that when he undid the staples on the upholstery, he dumped them on the floor until I offered him a ziplock bag to put them in, and the holy grail of it all, he forgot his staples for the staple gun, had to run to Lowes, then got the wrong staples before returning back to Lowes, and thus extending the sofa assembly time. Not only that, he charged us for the staples, which should have came from Dennis' company budget. Those were drawbacks. Nonetheless, I give him an A for budget, value, professionalism, and work quality. I give him a C for communication, and D for timeliness.
