Beverly worked with me in 2013 to update my resume for Government employment applications. I had previously left a job of 13yrs. My resume was really outdated and I did not have the time to research the plethora of "how to apply for Government position" references. With no KSAs, my resume really had to hit the mark. Bev hit it! Not to mention her response time was timely. Pricing wasn't bad. We did have a couple of iterations of questions because she didn't ask me all of the questions she needed to upfront. But I was very pleased with the end result.

Beverly updated my resume to correlate my work experience to specific contract statement of work requirements for a bid proposal. My resume was accepted for the RFP response! Ms. Freeman helped me with my federal resume. Before going to Beverly I was not getting my application sent to the hiring manager. Beverly took my résumé and restructured it to fit how the federal system looks at them. My first job I applied for after Beverly finished with my résumé my application was sent to the hiring manager. I was called for a interview but did not get the job. But it didn't take long after that before I was able to land a government job. Ms. Freeman made no promises except when she will have my résumé ready but I believe because of her knowledge of how the federal government works she was a key factor in helping me get a government job.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of customers on several editing projects. No matter the customer, or the project, my goal is to provide quality services every time.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My most recent project was a newsletter that I edited for a Communications Manager. I enjoyed the work and was genuinely interested in the content of the county-wide newsletter. It took minimal time and I was very proud of the work that I did on that project.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking to hire a writer, ensure the writer has an editor. If the writer is also the editor, use caution when asking for quick turnarounds on large writing projects. Often, it takes either a fresh set of eyes or a time lapse between writing and editing when done by the same person. Large, quick turnaround projects may result in a less than perfectly polished project.
