FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education in carpentry and remodeling comes in the form of trade magazines. I subscribe to Fine Homebuilding, Fine Woodworking, The Journal of Light Construction, Remodeling, Wood, Popular Woodworking, and the Woodworkers Journal. The best continuing education is over 40 years actual experience. For remodeling, there is no better education than actually doing the work.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
In recent years I've done a large addition to a house that doubled the size of the house, added a gorgeous sunroom to a house, remodeled several bathrooms, remodeled a kitchen, did siding repair, installed a metal roof on a house without removing the present roof, built several decks, one with a handicapped ramp, built a duck house on the side of a shed, installed a new bathroom, raised the roof on a house, and built custom shelves, cabinets, and window seats.
