Introduction: For the past 12 years, I have been studying and sharing music, primarily saxophone, with young and old students alike who share the common goal of lifelong music exploration. While I have been playing the tenor sax for 12 years and am able to instruct beginners through advanced players, I also have fluency in most brass and woodwinds, as well as percussion and piano at the elementary (beginners) level.
I studied philosophy at Green Mountain College and then traveled to Boston where I attended Berklee College of Music. I will be graduating from Castleton State College at the end of May with a bachelor's degree in K-12 music education.
My primary focus is in jazz and am well versed in that style. I have been playing since fourth grade, as many young musicians start their career. I am now 23, have traveled the world, had the opportunity to play with professionals and amateurs alike, and have gained endless knowledge and necessary tools to pass on to any musician seeking that next level in their music career, whatever that may be.
If you or someone you know is in the Poultney Vermont area and is seeking that next level, please contact me. I offer half hour and hour lessons either in my private studio on Main Street or in private, local homes.
Currently, my cellular telephone's voicemail service is being shaky, but I do text, if you cannot reach me otherwise.
