- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know what is worth paying more for. Many people pay too much for someone who is not as skilled as another who may be cheaper and more passionate. Hire realistically.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
DJ: Djing is a very clogged profession. Anyone can make and play a playlist from iTunes. I like my customers to know that what sets me apart from other DJs is my capability to live mix. Not only are you hiring me for the equipment (that anyone could use with practice) but most importantly for my skill in the field. Photographer/Videographer: Because I am so independently employed, I have the freedom to work within whatever guidelines you may have in a job. I own all my own equipment, and could work specifically with you on anything job related, one on one.
