Lynn is always ready to start on time and does a nice introduction of stretches to get started. I appreciate her verbal instruction as we're working, along with her demonstration of what we're "striving for" in each pose. She also has a soft, gentle way of walking around and adjusting us to get the maximum benefit. I just wish I had started yoga earlier in my life!
I sought a yoga instructor with patience and humility. Lalainya is definitely patient, understanding, positive, & non judgmental. There are other instructors who expect you to be at a certain level of understanding already. As a new student, I find that she is not only understanding but also open to ideas. She welcomes questions as an opportunity to enlighten and share relevant thoughts about the integration of yoga in your overall daily life. If there is any position not held correctly, she will let you know right away. If you seek a knowledgeable, but humble instructor, you will not be disappointed when working with Ms. Rawlings. She listens to your needs, respects/acknowledges your limitations all while encouraging your exploration of self awareness and unlimited potential. This is only my experience and I'm pleased with the results. You will be, too.

I decided to ask Pam for private yoga lessons after suffering lower back pain and shoulder tightness which was presumably caused by my 40 hr/week desk job. I am a novice yogi, and Pam took the time to listen to my goals and concerns about my body. Pam communicated in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident that I would achieve these goals for myself, and she made me excited to start practicing more advanced yoga techniques. I mold a class based on the clients' wants and needs. I teach yin, vinyasa, power and modified primary ashtanga styles of yoga as well as breathing exercises. I teach one-on-one personal classes and group classes as well as classes in the business place and teen sports teams. I'll travel to your home, office or in a local park to teach classes!
I teach vinyasa (flow) style yoga. I create unique flows each time I teach that open up all channels of the body and mind. As I instruct poses, I cue proper alignment to insure safety and maximize benefits for practitioners. I absolutely love to share yoga with others.
