I have been training at Ligot Training Systems for 8 months. Before that I tried several gyms and worked out with several trainers but, never felt like I was learning or gaining anything. A friend of mine invited me to try Ligot Systems and I was hooked immediately, the trainers are knowledgeable and very friendly and they make sure to create a workout that fits your needs. I had bad knees due to my years of playing competitive sports and usually that was the reason I will stop working out, but now my knees feel better than ever and working out is always fun. I never thought that I will have so much fun working out or that I will look forward to my next training day! So not only the pain in my knees is gone, I lost over 25 lbs and I'm stronger and faster than before but I have FUN!!!!

It's hard to put into words just how great a trainer Mike is. Like many others, I was afraid to approach a gym/trainer because I didn't know what to expect and I was afraid of failing. Nick Koller has help me reach fitness goals that I could not otherwise do myself. The job was at Excellence Health and Fitness Gym. Although, we are still in progress Nick has been helping me train for 5 weeks now and I have already seen major inprovments in lower body fat and more muscle growth. What impressed me about the service is how much improvement I have been making in only 1 hour a session for 3 sessions a week. In addition, I really like how much I felt that Nick cared for my fitness goals and what I wanted to achieve. I have training with Nick for 5 weeks now and I would say he's exceeded my expectation of where I would want to be within this time. Nick has always been on time when we have scheduled sessions and he has been very flexible with my schedual. Given the results that I have shown I would say the quality of the work is excellent. I'm not sure I can say that there is anything that could have improved my experience because my experience was fantastic.
Rachel’s approach to personal training embodies what in my view, “personal” training should be. She took an immediate interest in mine and my partner’s goals, asked both of us to tell her about lifestyle specific to food and physical activity, tested each of our range of motion to identify strengths and weaknesses then explained how we would work on reaching each of our individual goals together. We have been training with Rachel weekly since August of 2015 and each training session has been well planned and executed. She has an intuitive sense for when and how hard to push in order to keep us focused on our goals and does so seamlessly even though we both had different areas of strength and weakness that require focus. Over the past 16 months, I personally have lost 35 pounds, developed much greater strength and stability in my entire body, improved my posture and gained much needed cardio health. My partner has lost 20 pounds developed very nice muscle tone and can now do pull-ups like we used to toss back cocktails...effortlessly. Rachel comes with our highest recommendation. Spending time in gym with the equipment didn't really help me earlier so I thought of trying something which motivates and doesn't have the usual routine. P90X is overall package with exercises and nutrition. You get to do cardio, strengthening, boxing, yoga etc... (good mix of everything :)) and not get bored. I'm not that coordinated and had a little trouble with getting some of the exercises, Drahoslav helped me get up to speed. He modified to personalize the exercise routine to my comfort which in turn helped alleviate my wrist and lower back pain. I was suffering from lower back pain over a few years, after I started P90X under Drahoslav's guidance I feel flexible and have perceptible changes in posture and feel much more confident. This routine has sinked into getting a much desired good night's sleep. Finally to complement Drahoslav helped me guide through my diet plan. Thanks Drahoslav I am a much more confident person now. I'm just about 20+ session and more reviews to come.

I really enjoy my personal training sessions at ianfitness! Cindy is awesome. I get a better workout in 30 minutes than I would on my own at a gym for 2 hours. I love how I just show up and have a whole workout planned for me :) and they're very efficient- I am working out at least areas of my body with each exercise!
I've been training with Neil for approximately 5 months and it has been hands down the best personal training experience I've ever had. His knowledge of boxing is encyclopedic and he is passionate about what he does. If you want to train with someone who knows what he's doing and cares about your goals train with Neil. I love my workouts with Mary. Her sessions are well thought out, and one can make it as easy or hard as they want. My favourite thing about her is that she listens to what your goals are and will help you get there safely and in good form. I've been training under her supervision since Dec 2016, and I already feel a lot stronger - and a perk - have been able to apply the strength I've built in her class to other activities such as ballet, boxing and krav maga.
I discovered Hunter through a colleague; I was working with a trainer, but my friend raved about Hunter. I wasn't making any real progress with my trainer at that time, and wasn't confident that she had a firm plan for me when we'd get together to train. I've had 4-5 personal trainers in the past, and coaches and instructors for different sports from track & field to cycling (racing)/cyclocross to skiing and mountain biking. Hunter is hands down the best trainer with whom I've ever had the privilege to work. Hunter and I started training together one day a week in August, 2014. He saw me through a back injury that I sustained before we started working together -- lifting heavy boxes (likely without a strong and stable core and good body positioning) and aggravated by continuous cycling. It turned out I had a herniated disc and disc fragments stuck in my nerve root-- I had minor back surgery and had to take 3 months off any activity afterwards, and was warned to come back gradually once I started up again. I wondered if and how Hunter could work with those restrictions. He absolutely did-- kicked my ass (in a good way!) and was always safe and cautious with increasing the workload. We started with body weight work and exercises I didn't know existed, and added on cautiously...I was back in no time, going harder and heavier than ever. I've continued to increase steadily because it's so much fun and I feel so good. I work with Hunter 4 days a week now; it's generally the highlight of my day. Hunter distinguishes himself from other trainers I've known with his deep knowledge and understanding of anatomy and how muscles perform and how the body responds during strength training. When I met Hunter, I was blown away by his physique, but also knew that my goal wasn't to get big. Hunter listens carefully to his clients' goals and truly tailors a client's program to his/her own unique goals, preferences, any physiological limitations, yet never sacrifices performing a given exercise correctly. He gets along with anyone, whether a client is a seasoned athlete or completely new to training-- he is genuinely kind, warm, friendly, and knows just how to push and encourage different clients to match their individual needs for motivation. He pays attention and can read his clients-- who needs harder pushing and who needs less. Although I wanted to keep Hunter a secret, he was too good not to share with my husband and friends. I told my husband he should try working with Hunter, and he was admittedly skeptical at first. He said he didn't want big muscles for the sake of big muscles, but wanted to be functionally strong for his favorite sports. I told him to just give it a try. My husband has made incredible improvement and lifts in some cases double what he once could (e.g. deadlifts or rack deads), and looks amazing. He walks and sits up straighter, rips down the slopes with more strength and confidence than ever. Hunter's years of personal experience, his understanding of the role of nutrition in one's health and training, and his unquenchable interest in his craft make him the most amazing trainer I've ever worked with. He's constantly perfecting his craft -- he reads voraciously and incorporates all that he learns into his work. He pushes me to work hard but in just the right way for me. I am constantly progressing: he mixes up our workouts to keep it interesting, he has this encyclopedic library in his head of different exercises and variations to work different parts of the anatomy, he responds to any changing goals I might have, and he's just a blast to work with. LIterally a week doesn't go by that someone at work or on the street or in a restaurant doesn't stop me and comment to me on my physique. I always tell the same story-- I've lifted throughout much of my life as an adjunct to other sports-- track and field, cycling, skiing, and have always loved lifting weights but it was a secondary sport. Through and with Hunter, I've discovered how incredible strength training is in and of itself. I know some women have said to me that they've worried about strength training with someone like Hunter because they don't want to look big and bulky and like a power-lifter (these were my initial concerns). I ask them if that's how I look, and they say, "No. You just look ripped". :) Give Hunter a try-- I can promise you that you will look back after months together and wonder how you ever managed before.
Joseph is knowledgeable about fitness and knows how to get results in a healthy way. I did a boxing workout with him and he coached me through the process with ease. I had an awesome workout and was REALLY sore the next day! He's fun to train with and will encourage you to do your best.
I've been a member for almost a year now and I recently decided to start the personal training he offers. I love this gym, great atmosphere, great people, great coaching. Ever since joining I've accomplished so many things I never knew I was capable of doing. Marcus definitely believes in all of his clients and helps you to reach your full potential. Ever since I started getting personal training I can tell I'm getting stronger in all of the movements I told him I wanted to improve in, and it makes me so excited to see just how far I can go.
I've been working with Robert for over a year to improve my fitness through circuit training, boxing, kick boxing, and learning escrima techniques. I've seen great improvement in my power, speed, and footwork. Each session Robert brings a motivational attitude that pushes me forward in fitness yet is attentive to any injury or limitations. He is patient and works with me to design sessions that help strengthen problem joints and muscle groups or speed recovery. He is flexible with scheduling, which is great since mine is always changing. His dedication to health and fitness shows in his own lifestyle and he instills that same ethic in his clients. My work with Robert has been great and the inspiration of postive changes in my own lifestyle.

Working out and especially using weights used to be something I didn’t believe I was capable of. The foundational information Peter has taught me has allowed me to feel safe and get the most benefit out of my workouts. It also showed me that weight training wouldn’t make my body bulky or huge. It’s helped me develop lean muscle and sculpt my body in a way I have always yearned for. Peter’s instruction and coaching has enabled me to create a sustainable fitness and wellness lifestyle that I never thought possible. I’ve since gained a newfound confidence lifting weights and working out that I’ve never had before in my entire life. I have even taught a few boxing classes! Without Peter’s guidance I know I wouldn’t be where I’m at physically or mentally.
I've been a member for just over a year and LOVE the atmosphere of the gym and the attitude of Kenny and his team. This is key for me, I'm not a "Big Box" gym person. Matt uses innovative products and strives to tailor each workout according to the needs my son, Sebastian has. Sebastian is 18, with sensory issues and I have been amazed at his progress. Matt is working with Sebastian to strengthen his non-dominant side, his core, vestibular and proprioception. Each week, Matt has a lack to keep him interested and on track doing their work out. Sebass has discovered that he really enjoys boxing and says it's his favorite part of his work outs. Matt is fun, and is a great encourager. Sebastian says it's like working out with a friend.

Jeff is actually the best trainer I have worked with, in decades of a fitness-oriented lifestyle. He helped me recover from multiple surgeries on my legs and feet, and get back from bed rest, to being athletic again. His knowledge and experience, willingness to take on a challenge, and his creativity in working around my limitations as I healed, were invaluable. Meanwhile his empathy, taking my goals seriously despite some obvious obstacles, and his personality in general, made working with him a sincere pleasure. I have been doing personal training, boxing and kick boxing with Danny. Danny is able to pick up on ones weaknesses and help you work on them and become stronger. He's really awesome and I highly recommend him.

I use a variety of different training techniques and devices. I have been doing this since '02 and nothing is more valuable than experience. I also teach an intense 75 minute boxing class twice a week.
I pay attention to detail, take in consideration of the person and their lives also. If they are busy and have a lot of family life issues, I can work around that and make things happen. Make a workout accordingly and you will still see results!
